It is an old-school burger joint, and the atmosphere says so. While not as old school as the original was still old school. Service is good for a busy hamburger joint. It is what you want fast and accurate. The food with their locally sourced hamburger make it a step above. The taco burger is fantastic, but the go-to at this place is the curly fries Pad burger and a chocolate shake. If visiting Topeka, and you say what's local and good Al's Taco's and The Pad....
Pork tenderloin sandwich combo w onion rings tea to drink was absolutely the best I've ever had. Always freshly hot ? temp n they put catsup, mustard, mayo, pickle, onions tomato I don't get lettuce on mine. Never thought all of those condiments on Pork tenderloin sandwich w be good but definitely is. Thx?
Been going here for nearly 20 years. Food is decent. But the service and price are unbeatable. Can't forget, their fried cheese balls are legit THE BEST IN TOWN, and that's fact not opinion?
