I go there often and the food is always great! The staff is friendly and doesn't give me a hard time when I order specific details. When my friends & family are in town, I always recommend this place
Superior drive through service.. fast and easy, which is what I want during lunch breaks. I got the 1/4lb cheeseburger with everything. The pickles, in my opinion, are tough and just not great. The burger was good though. I also got the onion rings, I didn't hate them, but i've had better. I thought the onions were tough to bite. Next time I want to try the cheese balls and maybe the pork fritter sandwich. I forgot to take picture, I was in a hurry.
It is an old-school burger joint, and the atmosphere says so. While not as old school as the original was still old school. Service is good for a busy hamburger joint. It is what you want fast and accurate. The food with their locally sourced hamburger make it a step above. The taco burger is fantastic, but the go-to at this place is the curly fries Pad burger and a chocolate shake. If visiting Topeka, and you say what's local and good Al's Taco's and The Pad....
