Paradise is a local donut shop with that old-time donut shop feel. The service was prompt and polite. The donuts are fantastic. Goldilocks donuts, not to to airy. Just right, and the maple frosting was excellent.

One hundred percent, absolutely the best donuts in town.Nicest, customer service servers.The owner is wonderful.Only thing is you gotta be there earlier.They might be sold out so if you want to get your favorites get there early or you can order a dozen in advance
I'm trying to lose weight so I try to avoid this place. I got a dozen donuts and had a couple left for my fiance and her daughter by the time I got back to the house.

The Long Johns were over cooked but cold at 6:30am. The donut holes were cold as if they just came out of the freezer. The regular donuts seemed as if they were a day or 2 old. Nothing was warm and fresh as I would have expected for being open for only 30 minutes. What happened to freshly made donuts in the morning? The employees were extremely friendly and helpful.

The short hours at this donut shop were shocking to us, but this may be emblematic if a cultural difference. Back home the shops around and across from our university hospital have extended hours and 7-day weeks to catch no only all the staff at shift-change, but all the families and visitors of the patients who might need to pop out for a quick bite.The 4-hour window to catch these donuts and sausage rolls probably eliminates waste, but also shifts a bunch of business to the chain-store up the road...Timing worked in our favor today, and we luckily caught the sausage rolls before they sold out. We liked the thin pastry on the sausage rolls much more than traditional kolaches, and we had absolutely no complaints on food handling. I'd like to say we'd swing by when we come through Topeka again, but I doubt we'd make that narrow time window if we planned for it.
