I live in KC and usually go to either of the locations there, but thought I would stop by the familiar name on my way through Topeka. The Kansas City locations are way more consistent and friendly — they blow the Topeka location out of the water!

This place feels a lot more welcoming than Starbucks or other big chain coffee restaurants. You feel like you can stay for hours without bothering anyone. It has a very large lobby with cozy dark decor, really big windows, and beautiful plants.

Very friendly staff. I've only tried the lattes and quiche, and highly recommend both. The pup cups are top notch according to my dog.

They've got a five dollar endless cup of coffee. What a great value.

The service is not the fastest here, but the food is very good.

Ordered a dirty vanilla chi. Frist drink they gave us was the wrong flavor. I let them know hey I'm sorry but that's not what I ordered. It was a chi but not the chi I ordered. The second drink came out and it's way too dark and tastes of nothing but strait cinnamon. The cashier just looked at me like I was stupid with the what do you want me to do about it type gesture. 😒 I love dirty vanilla chi. I've had it many times at many places and NEVER has it looked or tasted that bad. I hate being confrontational I was as polite as I could have been. But at the end of the day the base line expectation is to recieve what you payed for.

This is my go-to weekend coffee shop. The staff are always so friendly, and their service is top-notch, as are their food and drinks! They offer unique and delicious seasonal specials for specialty drinks and teas. I use their drive thru as the lobby is pretty busy on weekend mornings and a little loud due to the incredible acoustics. I beat the crowd this morning and greatly enjoyed dining in! I love seeing all the brand swag, especially the stickers, pins and other tchotchkes.
