Visiting here from Minnesota. Did a Google search for gluten-free bakery & came across your little shop. Stopped in this morning & bought two muffins & 2 cookies. Absolutely delicious, have one of each for tomorrow. May have to stop again before heading home. Thank you, so nice to be able to walk in & not have to be concerned about cross contamination. Stopped into Shana Cake while visiting Topeka, grabbed some cupcakes and other goodies. The cupcakes are TO DIE FOR. 10/10. Everything is wonderful. Great service too. Highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend Shana cakes enough! my husband surprised me with a cake for my 30th birthday. He had difficulty finding a bakery near us that could make a gluten free cake, he called and messaged several bakeries and no one would get back with him except for Shana cakes. They were super understanding and accommodating. The cake was AMAZING. I was diagnosed with celiac disease a year ago and cake was one of the big things I missed. Not anymore, this was just as good as any gluten containing cake I've ever had. It was so delicious, I can't wait to order another one!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience! Highly recommend. They’re very helpful with the selection process, accommodating and my order was DELICIOUS! The cake and cupcakes were visually appealing while also tasting amazing, both were moist. I’ll be using Shana Cake again.

Called to ask questions about flavors and let the owner know I would call back next day to place order. I called back the next day and was told she was out running errands and would have her call me back. I told the gentleman what my phone call was in regards to and he assured me I would be contacted. I waited 3 days and NO call. There for they lost business as I ordered $125 worth of cupcakes from their competitor. Will not recommend. Poor business sense.

For gluten free, it's a good option. But I have to say ~ if you don't require that , you probably should move on. The cake is decent but kinda dry & flavors lacking - enough if you don't get it at all. As gluten free goes, rates pretty well.

Shana Cake has gone above and beyond for us for many years!! In many ways, they were able to accommodate our son who has an egg allergy and they made my visions for his birthday come true from legos to Minecraft!! We will be going to them for as long as we are in Topeka!

I discovered their rolo cupcakes and it has got to be the best cupcake I've ever had! So delicious that I make a weekly visit specifically for the rolo cupcakes. If you haven't had one, you haven't lived! Perfect texture, always moist, always delicious, and for someone who rarely eats icing on cake or cupcakes their icing is FANTASTIC! I could probably eat just the icing itself!

I absolutely LOVE Shana Cakes bakery. Everything I have had here has been amazing. This bakery and their staff now hold a special place in my heart since I originally walked in to order my daughter's first birthday cake over a year ago. Now my friend and I go every week. They are such kind and generous people, which makes the bakery even better. If you have not had their rolo cupcake, then you have not lived! I highly recommend this bakery!

LOVE!!! I have developed food allergies to tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and gluten, and walked into Shana Cake seeing their display cases of beautiful cupcakes, cookies, Swiss and pumpkin rolls, muffins, etc.... The best part, I could order everything in the building without worrying about a life threatening allergic reaction. Thank you SO MUCH Shana Cake for thinking of Topekans with food allergies. No one should have to worry about dying over a cookie. And here, I don't! No allergens in the food, and none in the building. The chocolate cupcakes were unanimously everyone's favorite. The frosting was just outstanding! Piled high, you would never guess something that rich and creamy was ever missing a thing! I have already requested my birthday cake from Shana Cake.

I LOVE German Chocolate cake, but it's not easy to find, so I usually only have it for my birthday. My lovely fiancé has been trying to make it from scratch for the last couple of years without much success. This year she decided to hand the reigns over to the pro's, but struggled to find a local bakery that could make a cake this close to Thanksgiving. But Shana Cakes pulled through in perfect German Chocolate cupcake perfection. Soooo good! And here's the kicker; I had NO idea these were allergy-friendly until I got online to post the review. So, don't hesitate to give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
