We were in town to do some business and thought we would try this restaurant for lunch.
We both ordered fried chicken with pinto beans and green beans and mac and cheese.
Let's start with the chicken. It looked amazing was freshly fried. First bite into it I wasn't impressed at all. It was over cooked and had the look of alot of seasoning but did not have the taste of any seasonings. One plate was cooked thru and one plate was not some was still bloody. Which can happen. No big deal.
The pinto beans and corn bread was amazing. The one thing I was impressed with was the Mac and cheese. It was made to perfection.
The owner herself was the sweetest lady I've meet in a long time.
We would come back again. Just different choice of meat would be ordered. I wanted to order cheese cake but was way to full to fit it in my body!!!
I would say it wasn't all bad. The sides were really good. Just not the fried chicken.
Over all I would recommend trying the mac and cheese!!!!

Great food that is good and healthy. I don’t have any health issues and want to keep eating healthy, shoppers kitchen does that for me. I recommend shoppers kitchen and I approve this message.

Cool place. Owner is very nice. I had the double patty grilled cheese which was amazing then a keylime pie for desert. Everything is outstanding. If I lived here I would eat lunch everyday at Shoppers.

If you like good home cooking and Soul food, do yourself a favor and check this place out. The food is great and the staff will treat you like family. Best catfish in town and the sides are out of this world.

Breakfast was great! Food was hot, plenty of choices and made to order. We will be back to try other menu items!!

I was blessed to have lunch at SHopper's Kitchen yesterday and it was delicious! I dined-in and it was clean and pleasant with a cozy atmosphere. The wait staff was very attentive and super nice and the chef came out to chat and check on us. Her food is the most wonderful mix of soul food and comfort food. I chose a grilled cheese burger that was so cheesy and scrumptious with a side of super crispy hand-cut fries and a side of the most wonderful black beans that took me to flavor heaven. The best part was yet to come when she brought out a serving of the most delicious peach cobbler I've ever tasted I can't wait to try the fried catfish and the sweet potato pie! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The whole experience was sublime and I look forward to going back. Everything was very reasonably priced as well.

Chicken Protein Bowl was absolutely amazing and delicious.

Wish I could give zero stars. Very dirty establishment, and HORRIBLE customer service. I wasn't even all the way INSIDE the establishment and was told not to use profanity on my phone, I was on the phone with my boss so I would like to know what profanity I used???? I was literally in the outside portion of the property so that's comical to me. Don't waste your time or money, especially if you accidentally cus and don't even realize it. ????

The entire experience here from meeting the owner, interacting with our server and obviously the food was amazing! It's a little hole in the wall down home cooking place where you're treated like family and the food is made truly fresh to order. Our smash burgers tasted great but the real star is the made to order Mac and cheese! Would absolutely recommend getting anything here. It does take longer than fast food or chain places but that's because she makes your food fresh for you and believe me it's worth the wait, the catfish takes a while because it's absolutely huge filet ( so call 30 min ahead to make a take out order if you're in a hurry).
