Customer service at this location is by far one of the most frustrating, rudest, and almost nonexistent I’ve ever experienced. I can’t believe they still have customers coming here. The sandwiches and food are good, but the terrible customer service completely overshadows that.
I’ve had a couple of interactions with an African American lady while picking up my order, and let me tell you, it was a shameful experience. Out of all the times I’ve ordered here, this was by far the worst. Not sure why she still works there. If she hates her job or her customers, she should probably need to find a job in a warehouse or somewhere where she doesn’t have to interact either people at all. Very unfortunate situation...

Food and service were very good. The atmosphere lacked, but it's in a Walmart grocery store entrance, I guess thats why I think that.

Either subways portions have gone down and there prices up. Or my sandwich was skimping packed for jalapeños and didn't even taste the flavor and they ripped up greens!

Subway on Gage is horrible. People there look like they bite rocks all night and then when you go to pick up your food they have no clue of what is going on. If you want quality food go to any other Subway but this one.
Everything was to our satisfaction

So I went to get a few sandwiches at the Subway at 1151 SW Gage blvd. today. I went through the drive thru and used the kiosk as this Subway won't honor any of the app deals. My mother didn't know what she wanted so i backed out of her order and started a different sandwich for her, changed some toppings, all using the 'back' button provided to me for THAT VERY REASON, to make changes BEFORE an order is finished. At which point the worker got on the speaker and told me to 'quit starting and stopping sandwiches because they were making them as i started each one' . I said I didn't realize it was a problem to change my order BEFORE I finalized it. They said ' It's not, we're just making them as you put them in'. Well clearly it is an issue of you felt the need to tell me to 'quit' changing my order. The kiosk has a BACK button for a reason, does it not. As a customer who is about to spend $40 on 3 sandwiches, am I not allowed to use it? Why are you telling a customer to 'quit' using a feature that is provided by the company you are employed by? Or if the kiosk is a problem, then remove it and let me order at the window which I am sure most people would prefer. If you want to start preparing sandwiches before the order has been completed, or even close to complete, then i guess YOU, as an employee who made that decision, run the risk of having to restart that sandwich. I told them not to worry about it cause I'll just go to another Subway, which I did. That Subway, on 21st street, seemed to have no issue waiting for me to COMPLETE my order before making it. I was greeted with kindness and respect, as a customer who is ordering a product the way i am allowed to order it, should. I don't know why an employee would ever think it was appropriate to speak to a customer like that when all they have done is use a feature that YOUR COMPANY provides us. It's rude and completely unacceptable.

The absolute slowest service I have ever received. I should not be waiting in the drive-through for 20 minutes for 6 inch
when the parking lot is empty.

If you aren't in a bad mood when you enter you will be when you leave. The most unhappy people work there. Store manager was the worst. Don't order from here.

I work in Topeka but live 45 minutes away. On my day off, I accidentally ordered at Topeka Subway as that is usually where I get food from. I called the store to try to cancel my order and the woman that answered refused to cancel my order or give me a refund. I told her it was a mistake and I didn’t want them wasting their product as I would not be picking it up. She basically said sucks to suck. Which, whatever. Enjoy your free dinner I guess. 🙄

I eat subway every now and then so i wasn't expecting anything different with this dining experience. Fortunately, as soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by staff and they promptly took my order. I met a wonderful sandwich artist by the name of Xavier, he was very friendly and easy to talk to. He helped me create the best sandwich I have ever had at any subway location ever. I was having trouble picking out vegetables to go with my sandwich when Xavier tastefully recommended red onions. Mind blown! The red onions perfectly paired with the sandwich we crafted. The service here is exceptional as once he was finished with my order he moved on to the next customer and kept the same energy. The sandwich was so good that I forgot to take a picture of it before I ate. If you want an amazing sandwich ask for Xavier next time you go!

Accidentally placed an order for the wrong location. Called store and explained the situation. Got told “There’s nothing we can do”. They denied transferring my order to a different store or even a refund.
