I love Mom & Pop style restaurants. This place has amazing homestyle food. i m9ved out of the country for work, when I visit family in Topeka this is the first place I go.

This place is cash only (or check). of course, we didn't have either so we had to drive to find an ATM (one in the airport was broken) and come back. who doesn't take cards these days?! just surcharge instead of having customers look stupid. Breakfast buffet had 6 things for $12 per person. Food was edible but nothing to celebrate. French Toast sticks were the best item. Old school vibe and carpet showed wear -needs a face-lift. I'm sure their existing regular customers keep this place afloat, but not a great experience for new customers.
