Tequilas North Mexican Restaurant & Bar

Server had to be new. Terrible service. Had to ask 3 times for plates, silverware. Waiter asked what sides I wanted.. Menu says, rice, quac, lettuce, s cream, beans. So you want that? Yes that is what comes with the item. Food was the normal wonderful. I paid in cash and waiter didnt bring correct change and I wasnt leaving a 10$ tip. Very slow getting food. Took 3 people to get me the food we ordered. Received food several minutes BEFORE plates, silverware, napkins. Sorry I drove across town for this.

I watched the male owner give my server my food and he put his finger in it then put his finger in his mouth. I’m assuming because he wanted to try my food… disgusting! They did comp me for the food and the server was great. The server told the other owner, he denied it but she (the women owner) said he does that all the time and needs to stop. The guy couldn’t even come over to say sorry or anything to me because he couldnt speak English. I probably won’t come here again! El Centenario is where it’s at anyways.

A bit over priced for the quality.

Good food and service

The food I ordered was delicious! I had a tamale, pan fried taco, pork burrito and rice. There was a smokiness to the tamale that was very pleasant. No need for sauce and very moist. The pork burrito was full of flavor and the rest very good as well. My husband had fajitas and he is taking half home, very very good.
The service and staff were very friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend coming here and we will be back as well!

No complaints. They have the thin chips which I love so that right there made them better than most of the Mexican restaurants in topeka. I had the fajitas and they were good.

Gave them another shot beef enchiladas tasted like dirty soap cheese one tasted like rotten cheese was used will not be back

This is the Perkins of Mexican restaurants. Golden Corral-esque. Until today I have never had bland Mexican food. The salsa tasted like ketchup. The chorizo was bland. How? How do you make chorizo bland??? The chicken had no seasoning and the carne asada was just chopped steak. Is this a low salt/bland diet restaurant for octogenarians? Flavorless. If you need low sodium levels, this place is for you. Staff was friendly and helpful though so that's a plus. I give it 2.5 bland chicken breasts out of 5.

Friendly, clean, good food. Happy to see tostaguac on the menu! Great price for build your own three item combo meal. Very pleased overall.
