Great place for a dine in breakfast. I typically get corned beef hash with eggs, but there are many interesting options on the menu. The kids all look forward to coming here and love the western sodas. The restaurant feels clean and service is always good. Worth the price you pay.
Dietary restrictions: It would be amazing if they would switch to healthier oils and fats like avocado oil, tallow, ghee etc., to cook with.

I wanted to share a review about an employee, Des. Big Biscuit needs to how valuable Des is to the restaurant. We sat at the bar, she answered the phone multiple times with the most pleasant voice and always ended the conversation with, "we'll see you in a little bit." With that in mind, she also had tables on the floor, along with people seated at the bar area and helping people picking up orders. I made sure to let Des know that she was doing a great job and before we left, I happened to make a point to let management know. So, if you want great service, head to Big Biscuit and request to be seated wherever Des is assigned. Thanks Des and Happy New Year!

Alright, to answer succinctly - the food is fine, standard American breakfast fare, the service is probably the highlight of the experience, the atmosphere is kind of busy and noisy.
I’m not saying “don’t go” but, for the life of me, I don’t really get why this would be your choice over any other run-of-the-mill breakfast diner. It’s all the exact same food, maybe only with an added flair of excess and some nicer furnishings. If you need a giant portion, this is your spot, but for the same amount of money, I feel one might be better off driving to Lawrence and getting Wheatfield’s, but that’s just one man’s 2¢. ✋🤚 nothing wrong with it, just not for me, personally.

I came in 30 minutes before close, the only thing I ever get is biscuits and gravy but they were out of biscuits at the time, Leann saved the day by making more biscuits even though they were about to close soon. I definitely appreciated that a lot and will definitely be back more often

Set at bar. Obvious food stain that was never wiped up. Eggs Benedict traditional, but the English muffin used was sliced very unevenly. 1/8 inch slice and 1/2 inch. Don't believe it was an English muffin because of the texture being a bit fluffy. The taste was okay for the meal, but nothing special.

The Big Biscuit always delivers a hearty and satisfying brunch experience. Portions are generous enough to leave you full and happy. Given their morning crowds, it’s a good idea to get your name down in the Yelp waitlist before heading over.
Of their menu offerings, I especially enjoy the Laredo Bowl, which packs a flavorful kick with hearty potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese, and chorizo. Their Cinnamon Roll Pancake is a decadent treat - sweet, rich, and great for sharing. The biscuits are consistently fragrant and buttery and a perfect side. Overall, a realizable spot for a comforting & filling brunch!

Service was great, but the food is bland and no better than your average IHOP. That's not meant as a compliment. For specializing in biscuits, I would have expected better gravy.

I always have great service when I come to Lawrence and eat here, but not today. It took about 6-7 min before anyone even acknowledged me. After she brought my food, I was halfway done eating before she came back to check on me so I could ask for syrup for my French toast. Disappointing service today BUT when she bring my food/syrup/coffee she was very friendly so not sure what happened there??? The food is always great and large portions. I would stray away from the hand-pattied sausage, they are very thin and hard to cut.
Management- there is something unprofessional about a host/hostess wearing a hoodie over their head while walking you to your table. That needs to stop. If it's too cold for them near the door, move the stand or have them dress in warmer clothes without the hoodie pulled up over their head.

Wife and I went in to try this restaurant and heard nothing but good things about it. Went in and got sat down immediately, just to sit at a table for over 15 minutes without a single server or person asking if we wanted something to drink. Multiple workers serving everybody else and at times we're standing around talking to one another. If I could give it a minus 5 stars I would. Absolutely HORRIBLE service.
