Bar food at its best for last few years. It’s gone up and over the 40 years I’ve been going there but it’s as good as it’s ever been now
If only I could get a burger, beer, fries and 3 quarters for and hours pay as a janitor at the grade school.

This place is clean, comfortable as hell, the service was solid and most importantly, the gentleman in the kitchen are amazing at what they do! They cooked up a burger for me and another patty for my dog that was so good even my dog told me it was his favorite burger ever! Lil bastard drooled all over my brand new truck 😂

Hadn't been here for a long while. Not sure why, because it was a delicious reminder of why I love these burgers! Chili was delightful surprise, good and with the added extra cheese/onion/jalapeno made it perfect for cold night 😁

This place was great. The food was good, the people was super nice. Most of their tables were reserved for the game, but they said as long as we were done before the game we were welcome to sit where ever we wanted. Great first experience! Highly recomended!!

We found this place looking on Google for a new place to get a cheesesteak. We were little worried when we pulled up and saw the building it looks like a rundown bar.. but after we got our cheesesteaks we were pleasantly surprised they were absolutely delicious their side dishes are very large we have to cauliflower the mushrooms and the corn nuggets we couldn't eat them all and there was two of us if you're ever in Topeka and looking for a good cheese steak The shack too is where to go

Walked in picked a booth and was greeted immediately. Nothing special About the atmosphere its bar and grill. Very chill. We came here because we heard about the burgers. And it did not disappoint. Very juicy! The side salad was larger than a side. The place is kind of tucked away but worth it.
