We wanted to celebrate our hard working cafeteria staff by catering a beautiful meal, unfortunately it caused me more when when I arrived. the "chef" looked very unprofessional, he was going to serve everything out of metal mixing bowls, that were dirty, our salad dressing came in to go containers with metal, dirty, ladles. As a Director of Food Service, I have done several caterings through the years, I luckily arrived early and was able to make the service presentable for my staff. I used my own utensils and serving dishes. this isn't something I should have had to worry about. As everyone knows customers eat with their eyes. As we appreciate you trying to give us a "discount" our company will never use you or recommend you to anyone in the future. No accountability only excuses. Pictures tell a thousand words.

The food was medicore at best and that's a stretch. The Chicken Parm came with no pasta, and arrived 45 minutes early allowing it to get nice and mushy, the salad was a bowl of lettuce and some tomatoes with dressing in to go containers and the bowl for the butter was dirty and had mold in the bottom. The food was cold because the sternos were the wrong size and only kept the edges of the pans hot.. The outside of the chaffing dishes were dirty with dried food, the rolls came in a store bought package as is and the employee who may or may not be an owner wore no gloves, beard net or hair net. I have NEVER left a bad review, ever.
This was a retirement dinner for ladies that have spent the last 30 years feeding school kiddos, it was supposed to be special.

I do not recommend anyone to use 2 Chefs Catering. When they catered my works dinner, they were not only unprofessional, but unsanitary. This was an important dinner for women who were retiring and worked very hard. The food that was served was served out of dirty dishes, one which even had MOLD in it. The utensils were dirty and had dried food of them. The salad was a bowl of gross lettuce and tomatoes, the rolls were prepackaged that they had left in the package for us to display better, and there was no pasta for the dry chicken parmesan. We had to run to the dollar store to buy pasta and parmesan cheese! The man who was there did not wear any type of protection, no gloves, hair nets or hats, and didn’t cover his very long beard. This was a very expensive and important meal and when we reached out about our experience we received nothing as compensation except for a “discount for our next service”. What a joke!

This business is unprofessional. I emailed for a quote over a week ago going on 2. When they gave me the pricing, I asked to take off silverware, and they stopped responding. I emailed again, a couple days later. Called them 3 times and left voicemails after waiting days for an email response I didn’t get back. This business is picky and choosy with who they want their customers to be. CLEARLY. Dissatisfied with a request to take off silverware. Never will suggest this place to anyone.

2Chefs Catering catered the cocktail hour and dinner for our daughter’s wedding (just over 100 guests). Everything was delicious! Guests raved about the food. We selected the taco bar for dinner, and teriyaki chicken skewers, spinach artichoke dip, and pinwheels for cocktail hour. They were punctual, professional, and easy to work with. We didn’t have to worry about set up, replenishing the food, or packing up - they did it all! A huge thank you to 2Chefs! We highly recommend!

When my dad passed away, we wanted to have his gumbo served after the service. We contacted 2 Chefs Catering and they did an absolute amazing job…and even used my dad’s own recipe! The gumbo was absolutely delicious and everyone kept asking if it was my dad’s. They really made the celebration of life for my dad extra special.

If you like a good chicken fried steak, with real mashed potatoes and gravy, try Country Home Cafe by Lake Perry - 6504 Cherokee Lane in Ozawkie. They used to be on Highway 24 in Grantville. The food is great, the staff is helpful and the scenery divine. Homemade biscuits, cinnamon rolls and great prices. With the fall foliage and the views of the lake, what more could you ask for?
