It is always loud and full of people. The service is good, as is the food. They have a menu with many hamburger, sandwich, and appetizer options. It is your standard bar food, served with local hospitality.
When we pulled up, I’ll admit I was a little skeptical. The outside seating area had a bit of a sketchy vibe, mostly because it allows smoking at the outside seating. However, the inside was clean and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious! Larger groups could push tables together. Children are welcome. There's even a kids menu that comes with crayons.
We recently visited 4th & Elm in Wamego and had mixed feelings about our experience. The food we did receive was excellent, and the bartender, Blaze, was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and professional. He really made us feel welcome and did a great job taking care of everyone at the bar.
The biggest issue was the wait time for food. We ended up sitting there for about an hour and a half waiting for our order before finally asking to have it...
