Travelin' Smoke BBQ

Brisket and pulled pork were amazing! Nice and juicy with amazing flavor! Sides were good, but nothing too special. Baked beans were on the sweet side. Overall enjoyed this stop on our road trip and will definitely come back for the meat if we’re passing through in the future.

I love everything I've ordered. BBQ, brisket, chicken fried steak, all the sides...there's a reason they've won competitions. The food is worth the drive.

Truthfully, I wish I would have thought enough to take photos of the FOOD!!! Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had in my life! These potions are massive, the service is stellar and the atmosphere is inviting and personal… now, it could be my accent, or his… but I could have sworn the owner/operator (and very gracious host) said his name was ‘Belly’… which on hindsight, it’s probably ‘Billy’…? Regardless, the bloke is a fine restaurateur who really knows his craft. The brisket is the best, but the sausage and chicken is nothing to laugh about! I cannot wait to come back and sample the lot! Great place, great people, and great food

Was hoping the meat would be good, but was disappointed. Brisket was cold hot links didn't taste well, and the ribs were good.

Always hot, fresh, and delicious! Clean and friendly environment. Best BBQ in Sumner county!

First time eating here today.Had a brisket sandwich it was amazing.The staff was super friendly we will be back!

Great BBQ at a reasonable price. Sides are awesome too! Everyone is friendly and portions are always enough to have a little leftover.

I Ordered over a hour before the kitchen closed..I received 2 containers of spoiled Macaroni & Cheese. I called back within 10min of getting the food home and got a voicemail..(the kitchen still had about 15min to be open). I was called back by the owner later that evening.. she explained to me that she took a bite & didn’t taste a problem. She also said she had put a new pan out that day ( that worried me, as they open at 11am- holding dairy products for almost 9 hrs) ..She then said I might be “unfamiliar with the seasonings they use”. When I asked “ so that’s how it’s supposed to taste? My only response was a refund. Not a bit of accountability in the conversation. I returned the food you could smell through a bag The next day. I reiterated the issue when I went inside & She still needed to “investigate”. I felt like the entire conversation was to save face. I’ve worked in kitchens, managed restaurants, and held a ServSafe. If I had taken her word for it My family would have gotten sick. No seasoning combo equals sour dairy and a restaurant serving you food should know the difference.

Stopped through after lunch time on a Thursday, and it was awesome! Friendly staff, great food and they were accommodating for our seven month old crawling around our table. 10/10 will be back on all future trips. Great place staffed by good people!

Excellent barbecue and dinners. Variety of sauces. Had large party, everyone had something different, and everyone enjoyed their meals.
