Went in on a Saturday to attempt to pre order a custom built cake for a birthday party on Monday. The lady I spoke with seemed to cop an attitude & informed me that they were closed on Monday. She then proceeded to tell me that I would have to order & pick up the cake on Sunday. I asked if I could just put the order in today & pick it up on Sunday. This seemed to upset her even further, then the other staff member told her that that would be okay. Once that staff member walked away she said “Okay I guess we can do that” in the most disrespectful & disgusting tone of annoyance. I don’t seem to understand what this lady’s problem was but it just felt like my business wasn’t wanted from the first interaction I had with this individual. I would not recommend anyone go here in the future and will be sure to spread this terrible incident I had with anyone I know.To the owners - Why do you guys hire people with terrible customer service? It’s truly sad because I had heard good things about this place and this experience has just ruined any chance I will do business with you guys in the future. Something needs to be done about the attitude of your front facing employees.

Definitely a bucket list place to eat in Wichita if you haven’t enjoyed their food yet. Bring extra cash and take home some of the best baked goods you can get.

Went to Bagatelle's for lunch. Their parking lot was full, but I was able to grab a spot. I was a little confused where I should place an order at the counter, but a staff member helped me out. I ordered a sandwich with the side salad. For the sandwich you get to select the bread, meat, and sauce. They have toppings like Swiss cheese, onions, lettuce, and tomato you can add to it as well. I had them warm it and it was the right move. Their sourdough bread was amazing! The side salad was a little different. More middle eastern flavors than what I was anticipating for a restaurant that feels very Italian.

I haven’t lived in Kansas for very long, but I happened to stumble upon this bakery! Not only are the pastries good, but the food that they serve for lunch is amazing. There is such a variety. The food feels like “feel good food”. The kind where you come home and your mom has a really good dinner or lunch ready, yea this is that kind of food. Food that makes your heart, and stomach happy! Plus the atmosphere feels great as well. There is definitely a community vibe here. I highly recommend this place!

Having graced Bagatelle Bakery for a decade, my culinary journey with this establishment has been nothing short of extraordinary. The impeccable taste of their cakes is matched only by the enduring excellence of their service. A decade of indulgence, and each visit reaffirms why this bakery is a timeless treasure.

The nice owner came to our table to offer us a complimentary first time signature strawberry cake for our lunch. I love the friendliness and homey vibe of this bakery. Coffee was great ! Coming here with my husband later for sure.

I originally gave 1 star because they were always out of food. I am updating this as a 1 star upon discovery how filthy their kitchen is. A whistleblower revealed incredibly unsanitary conditions and disgusting practices. Nobody should ever eat here.

It'd been years since I'd eaten at Bagatelle Bakery since moving from that area. It was as delicious as I remember! Had Schwarma and Fattouch Salad, it was delicious!

I go to Bagatelle 1-2x a week for breakfast/brunch (coffee and croissant, typically) and everyone is always nice and everything is always tasty. They can get very very busy at times (like Sunday mornings when they have buy 1 get 1 French bread). I've had lunch there too, and that's always been excellent as well.

It was super to be able to order ahead for our holiday bread order. The car smelled so good on the way home. The whole staff must have been there as customers were swiftly moved down the line.It is always a treat to go to Bagatelle.
