Went to a pretty terrible comedy show here this past Friday. The out of town comedians were good, but OMG whoever picked the local comedians that performed should be fired. They were just absolute trash. The 3 stars is because the bar was nice and the staff did fantastic.
Every last Saturday of each month they have a band named Tumbao play for their Latin nights. It is a BLAST! You learn how to dance from everyone who's there. It's super nice and incredibly fuun!
Amazing bar, consistently good shows, standard prices on drinks. No craziness--just good old fashioned fun! And old-fashioned is no joke: its nestled inbetween historic oldtown and downtown with art installations all over the alley. Open mic is the best talent in town (art or comedy). Great rock booking for bands. Could use some scarier people. ;) IYKYK
