I so appreciated the recommendations from the sweet young woman behind the counter. The chorizo/egg burrito was also fabulous!!“

“unbelievable! I haven't been here in 8 years. I always got the lox but I got a little burnt out. they didn't have a lot back then so I kinda forgot about it. I happened to notice the name change and it peaked my curiosity. 😱 the crazy creativity these people possess in the art of bagel making, just left me speechless! “Went to the Egg Crate for the very 1st time with my family. I ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and green beans. The service was excellent as my drink was always topped of by the gracious waitress. The biscuit was delicious, especially when I smothered it in butter and jelly! The chicken fried steak was perfectly crispy in the outside and perfectly tender on the outside. I especially loved the variety of sauces and dips from my fries! The meal was very filling as I ended up sharing my fries with my neices and nephews (as they were eagerly waiting for me to "throw in the towel" so they could gobble them up!) Along with the delicious food the atmosphere of the diner has a really cozy atmosphere with a lot of fun themed country style decor. I am looking forward to visiting the Egg Crate Cafe on my future visits from Colorado!“

“My first time in this evening and i was very impressed. The waiter explained several dishes and recommended a few items as well. We chose the calamari which was huge and not chewy at all. Very nice! Also artichoke dip. I loved the pita breadbut wasn’t a fan of the chip it was super hard and i couldn’t really bite through it. Otherwise it was also fantastic. I opted for that trio kabob with mushroom risotto and veggies which were cooked perfectly. The brandy sauce and peppercorn something or other weren’t my favorite and i’m glad i chose them on the side. However the kabobs were cooked perfectly and the steak was so easy to chew. Kudos to the staff for keeping the place super clean and organized and the kitchen crew for making some amazing dishes this evening!“

“For when your visiting the hospital this is a great way to get food. For being "hospital food" it's really good. I always loved seeing the worker there when I went down. He was very nice and helpful of anything I needed help with.“

Service was top tier and he brings a level of positivity & love of life that is often missing from the world.
