“I'm really excited for Da Cajun Shak but why do they need to close down their gater bites are super good ??Parking: Up on 21st Street and Woodlawn there was no parking space for when we were arriving at Da Cajun Shak because of the fact that they were supposed to be closing down there restaurant within a matter of time say maybe June of 2024 I am not sure though if we want them to go sad time of the year.“
“This was our first time going. I went in feeling a little skeptical. I mean, we live in KS. How good could it REALLY be. I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was super hot, fresh and full of flavor. I mean FULL flavor. Just the right spice. My guy had the fish basket and I got the $36 special that comes with crab legs and choice of 2 other meats (we picked shrimp and clams). Then added sausage. And we shared all of it. Filled us up and then some!! I’ll definitely go back.“
“CAUTION!!!!So, I loved our server and food. However there was this man at the front behind the hostess desk that was picking his nose and eating it!!!! That made my stomach turn before I even sat at my table. Then that same guy started talking to me when I went to use the restroom and made me feel very uncomfortable. Telling me I was hot? I asked another worker what his name was so I could address it with a manager, and they told me that he was the manager on duty and his name is Tyler. Well Tyler, you should be terminated for such behavior. Absolutely disgusted. So needless to say, since he was the manager on duty, there was nothing I could really do. I live out of state and was just traveling through, so I would have to try and get ahold of another manager to let them know about this man's behavior..“
“Always love coming here. I don’t frequent too often since I live across town but when I do it’s always worth the trip. Extensive martini list with lots of different combinations. Still finding a bunch that I like. I usually get the blackened chicken pasta and it’s always phenomenal. The Cajun meatloaf is really good as well. The muffin service is great. The service is always excellent too. Definitely recommend for any occasion.“
