Went in for lunch prior to a movie and well, still not impressed. Food flavor was okay but portion wise it was pretty sad. I've had much bigger servings at Taco Bell for a quarter of the price. Waited after asking for a refill for too long so ignoring that single party person for a table of 6 isn't cool.

The worst service we have received here. We frequently come to Carlos for the queso and margs, and today's March Madness special drew us in.Upon arriving, we encountered a slightly more busy lunch crowd than usual, but nothing too crazy. Unfortunately though we sat for over 20min before a server came to even take our drink order. Meanwhile, at least 2 other tables that had been seated after us had already been waited on and received drinks.Once a server finally came over (only after we asked the host who our server was supposed to be) he took our drink, appetizer, and lunch order. Never told us any of the specials, barely even greeted us. We ordered 2 small queso's with ground beef, 2 jumbo margs, a ground beef taco, and chicken strips with fries.So, we wait and we wait and we wait. Now the other 2 tables have their food. We have yet to even get a water, or chips and salsa. Finally out comes chips and salsa. Still no water, apps, or margs. After a lengthy wait our queso and water finally arrives. Plain queso. No ground beef. We ask about the ground beef and the server seems annoyed. So we wait and wait, about another 5-7min and finally our ground beef comes out, along with the rest of our food. Still no margaritas. My biggest pet peeve is when the appetizer comes out with the entree. Then it is no longer an appetizer, but a side to my entree.The taco has a sprinkle of ground beef that doesn't even cover the bottom of the shell, only about half the taco had ground beef, and the other half had a sprinkle of other toppings. Not impressed. The chicken strips were burnt and over cooked.Approximately 5min later our margaritas finally show up. They were wonderful as usual. We send the taco back and get a much more appropriate amount of filling for the taco, but a cold shell not a warm baked shell. To top it off, the server just sat it on the table and walked away. No apologies, no acknowledgement that there was a mistake, nothing. Just an annoyed server.In fact, there were no smiles on any of the wait staff faces nor the host. Certainly not a warm, welcoming friendly environment. The whole experience was negative. While we will be back, I sure hope the demeanor of everyone there changes for a more positive experience for their customers.

The cheese and onion enchiladas are delicious! My 8 year old daughter ordered a taco with rice and beans. She can't wait to go back again. She loved the strawberry lemonade also. The decor is so cool. We love the different colors all painted on the same wall. Our service was friendly and fast.

I hadn't been to a Carlos O'Kelly's in probably 25 years, but found myself in the 13th street location the other day. The good: *Waiter was nice, responsive, no issues *The food tasted good, chips were fresh *They still have Atomic Salsa! *The prices were decent, didn't feel violated after I got the bill The bad: *The host (with a face tattoo.....) seemed annoyed that he was, well, hosting. We were there right after opening at 11AM, and he took us all the way to the back, and set us DIRECTLY next to someone, when the entire area was empty. Except for these other people. Restaurants - STOP DOING THIS. Put a space between people whenever possible. *The beer glasses had a strong odor of cleaning chemicals. I guess I'm glad they're clean, but it's very off-putting. Maybe not rinsed well enough? *The street tacos were comically small and had shredded cheese on them. They were good, I suppose, and I didn't expect authenticity, but cheese? Come on. All in all about what I expected. Doubt I will be back, if nothing else because of the Clorox beer glasses.

This is my "new" favorite location of Carlos O'Kelly's! The decor is unique among our local COK's. It's colorful vibe would fit in well on a Mexican beach. I was warmly greeted upon arrival & our server was outstanding. The margaritas were better here than at any of the other Wichita locations.Parking: Ample spaces for ppl who have disabilities.Wheelchair accessibility: Isles between rows of dining tables provide enough room for wheelchair bound persons to enjoy their experience in comfort. Other COK locations & most unrelated restaurants don't offer enough space, leaving diners at risk of being bumped or them fearing food could be spilled down their backs when too many people are coming & going at the same time. ? LOVE THIS

Food was OK. Service is excellent. Atmosphere was OK. I ordered a steak quesadilla. The steak quesadilla had steak, cheese, and beans inside the quesadilla. It would be better if it didn't have beans inside. Customer service was awesome with hardly no wait time. Atmosphere was your normal restaurant scenario. The booth tables are a bit weird. Seems like the tables are almost reaching too high.

We had such a great time. The service and food were amazing!!! We were there Thursday night at 6:30pm and jillian was our server and she was so fast, friendly and made this experience truly one of the best dining experiences I've had. 10/10 would recommend!
