I took a few men from the church I pastor for breakfast. The food was good and the service wasn't bad at all; however, when I got home to check my bill I was charged a 20% gratuity to which I was NEVER told & no signage or I'd of not have left an additional tip of 20% to the waitress. I will NEVER return and believe you are taking advantage of the consumer in your dealings. Poor business practice!

I had 6 people for a church mens group. Was NEVER told about a 20% gratuity added to my bill. I tipped like a normal person would & wouldn't have if I'd of known it was tacked on my bill! How dishonest they are doing this. This pastor will never be back!

Waited an hour and a half for our food and they only brought out half of the order. We asked for our remaining items that we didn’t get and they brought them out on a hot plate with cold food. Employees were very slow and didn’t seem to know who was doing what. It was a mess, terrible service and cold food…. Do not recommend coming here if you’re on a time crunch.

Great place to eat. Friendly staff and great food. The potatoes and onions for breakfast side are awesome.
My husband and I tried the egg crate Cafe for the first time today. We went on a monday when they have all you can eat biscuits and gravy. It was extremely clean inside. We were seated right away. The waitress was very attentive to our needs. The food was good, however my husband's potatoes turned cold pretty fast. Large portions and good prices. We will be back!

We’ve supported this restaurant for many years. I bring my elderly parents on Tuesdays because they offer a 20% senior discount those days when purchasing a drink with a meal. Unfortunately, the owners have lost all sense of customer service and I am ending my patronage.
On our last visit, our order was as follows (all on one check): I ordered a coffee, my mom ordered a meal, my dad ordered a meal and a coffee. Again, this was all on one check. They refused to give my parents the discount because my mom didn't “consume a beverage” (e.g.; the coffee I ordered) - she can’t drink coffee. SERIOUSLY? Who cares who drinks the coffee!?? They are paying for it in one check - along with another beverage and two meals! The waitress went on to say that the owners watch over them with cameras to verify they aren’t giving the discount. Wow! This is not what I expect from a locally owned company that we’ve supported for many years. After supporting this business for over 10 years, I refuse to continue my patronage. Goodbye, Egg Crate.
