It had been a couple years since I’ve been to Emperors. I had tried the ridge location a few weeks prior and my food was not what I had in the past. Tried this location today and it was awful. What’s pictured is “hibachi” but I’ve always known it as chunks of meat. It really wasn’t any good. The meat was in a watery sauce and in many bites I had significantly cold food. The rice didn’t taste at all as it should. Won’t be returning. The only thing good was the crab Rangoon and even then they seemed like they had been sitting a bit.

Food is low quality, unseasoned taste nasty.Service is bad and each order is made from the same pot.Atmosphere was loud and uneasyThe general chicken is not made to order its chiken nuggets with the most horrid general sauce ever. And the hibachi chiken is just fried rice with steamed veggies. They don't know what and how to cook.DO NOT EAR GO THE DQ ACROSS THE PARKING LOT.

Good food. Always quick to have our call in order ready. The hibachi chicken is my wife's go-to. I haven't found that one dish that I always return to and eager try something new every time.

I ordered the chicken hibachi and it was horrible. It had a lot of ginger and that’s really all that you could taste in the rice it overpowered the whole meal. It was not good at all.

A disappointing food option of Wichita on Maple Street. I once was a fan of the place but now I am convinced ownership has changed hands over the years here and must declare I’ve made my final visit to this restaurant. Takeout was a disaster recently due to arriving home with multiple terrible meals. The vegetable lo-mein was more of a mushroom soup with very undercooked noodles and no other veggies to be found. The General’s Chicken was inserted into the other takeout container and drizzled with a disappointing sauce, leaving the bottom half of the chicken dry and a clear sign it was prepared so quickly because it was not cooked in a wok at all. The spacious dining area still exists with a lot of complimentary sauces available in a a small fridge, yet there is nothing else left of what once was a great dining establishment. My visit before this was equally disappointing due to a strong chemical taste in the food yet I eventually dismissed it after considering there having been many great meals served here a long time ago. Unfortunately, I have to say goodbye to this business now and cannot encourage anyone to try it outside of nostalgia for what it used to be.

Terrible. Completely messed up my order. What I got was worth $7 and I paid 3x that for my order. Food quality has gone downhill as well. If you want good quality food, go to dragon city.

First off they don't know how to take orders and give change. And the food is terible. It taste like there's chemicals in the rice and sauce. And very bland flavor. Plus the waiter dropped my crab Rangoon on the floor and didn't bring me a new one. Shut this place down!!!

Sitting here waiting on my to go order literally watched the cook SEVERAL TIMES pick food up with his BARE hands while preparing orders! He answers the phone and goes back to cooking! No washing in between. I'm so disgusted and will never return. This post was made Friday Nov 24th 2023. Approximately 12;30p.m. I sincerely hope management handles this!

Emperors has always been my fast food carry out and dine in Japanese food here in Wichita. I would always go at least 2 times a month. The Terryaki chicken with extra carrots is my favorite. The crab ragoons are amazing and my favorite go to appetizer. The food is always hot and fresh. You don’t have to wait a long time either which is another plus. The workers are always friendly and kind as well. I would recommend trying them out!

The food was good but the portions was less than it used to be and the price was higher, I haven't ate here in a couple of years so I don't plan to come here again and customer service Samantha wasn't as pleasant I being the only customer.
