Their spicy wasabi mustard sauce or whatever it is excellent. Their whole menu is great. Awesome owners. Cheap, fast, delicious, filling.

The people are amazing, the food is wonderful, and it’s just all around the best mom and pop hibachi you’ll ever have.

Food is always very good and all the employees are so nice. Service is also fast, they have the food at your table before you know it. Love getting lunch here when I only have 30 minutes for it.

Just really bad. Shrimp was rubber, noodles were overcooked. 3 pieces of beef only in my combo lo mien. Haven’t been here in 8 years and used to love this place. It was so bad I didn’t even take it back and ask for a remake, wouldn’t eat anything from there again.

Fountain machine was removed. Canned drinks now $1.50, miss the fountain drinks could have just raised prices I would have been happy to pay more. Lunch specials start at 2pm-4pm, some of my chicken was overcooked. radio station they have playing is very loud. ice bucket for drinks not very sanitary

Today for lunch it was a choice between Fried Rice on Pawnee or Emperors Japanese Grill. We went with the Emperors. My last visit here was years ago. I'd just have to say, it was better the first time around. My girlfriend had the Chef Special Beef and I went with the Hibachi Chicken. I tried a little bit of the Chef Special, and I'd have to say, I liked it a little better than what I ordered. The problem with mine is the squash wasn't fresh and the fried rice tasted old and slightly bland. Other than that, it was OK. But I'll just say this, the more I ate, the more I enjoyed the meal. I did also really enjoy the sauces that came on the side. The ginger dressing made my Hibachi Chicken a little better.

Called at 830 to order some food could not get through called for 10 minutes and they didn’t answer the phone. I drove all the way up there and made it there at 8:50 10 minutes before closing and they got the doors locked mopping the floors a business closes at nine that means 9 o’clock you’re supposed to close and then break down and mop the floors and clean up. That’s poor customer service when customers come a quarter till and the business is closed. I don’t understand that 9 o’clock means 9 o’clock very unprofessional.

I used to live in Derby and frequently ate at Emperor's Japanese Grill Derby. While I prefer the Derby location, Emperor's Japanese Grill East also has very good food, good service, and a good atmosphere, with plenty of seating if you want to sit and enjoy at the restaurant.
