I came to Jimmy's Egg for breakfast (8:30 AM) already knowing that I wanted to order the Chorizo Tacos. When I started ordering, I was told they were out of chorizo. I ended up ordering the Classic Eggs Benedict. They asked if I wanted the eggs medium or soft and I said soft. I should have specified that I wanted the yolks to run like they are supposed to do, but assumed that's what soft meant (as opposed to medium). When they came, they were cooked through. The food...
I use to love the place at Douglas and Hydraulic but due to current situation and Sunday's service we will no longer be back. I'm sorry I loved the friendly environment and service we got but things change so it is time to move on. I recommend this place to everyone just don't make a complaint about service in person because things change after that. I found out being honest doesn't always pay off. thank you again.
Overall very good breakfast food spot. Good food, and friendly service, I'm not sure why they didn't put a few tables together for our group of 8 this weekend, so our gathering ended up being a bit disconnected. $14 also is more than I expected for a straight up waffle with eggs, bacon, and an orange juice - but that seems to be where we are these days.
