Jumbo's Beef & Brew

I went with my son, we ordered one appetizer and a burger for each of us. They only had one server for St. Patty's dinner service. The server didn't stop at our table after giving us drinks. After 38 minutes it took me 3 tries to flag her down, my son had drank his soda, we still had no appetizer nor food and she had no idea when it would come out. She wasn't willing to ask the kitchen but when she went and checked there were our burgers. We never received our appetizer and she said "I'll go ahead and take that off since the kitchen never made it". Well of course I'm not paying for something I didn't get but she acted like it was a courtesy. I wouldn't go back unless management staffs the place and gets people in that care about their customer's experience and show it.

Tried a few of their different sandwiches. The Italian beef was very good with the au jeau on the side. I have the Spicy Italian sausage pictured here, it was very good and has really good spice.

My husband and I stopped for lunch on a weekday and really enjoyed the food and our visit. The onion rings (appetizer) and fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like they should be. But the sandwiches were pretty amazing. We got a Jumbo's Beef and a Frizzle (hamburger with frizzled onions) and mentioned our plan to share each and asked for sandwiches to be cut in half. The waitress brought the half beef in separate containers and the hamburger was cut as requested so it was easy to share. Italian beef had good flavor and wasn't tough, just had the chew you'd expect from shaved steak. The seasoning on the hamburger was my favorite and I think the Frizzle is my new favorite burger and will be the reason I visit again. Two thinner patties and enough toppings to taste good without making it impossible to get it all in a bite. Great lunch and great service. It was a quiet location on our visit, but it looks like a fun place to visit in the evening, too, if you like a little more action but it isn't a very big location.

The burgers and fries are very good. However, I ordered a bottled beer and asked for a glass. The beer came, but no glass. So I asked the Waitress a second time for a glass. The glass never came. So I went up to the bar to ask for a glass and stood there being ignored by the bartender for several minutes. I finally got a glass to pour by beer into, after having by beer for nearly 15 minutes. Why is it so difficult to get a glass for a bottled beer? This SHOULD be a VERY simple request.

We have loved going here for years but today's lunch was absolutely horrible. They were busy but not packed or anything. We sat down and about 5 minutes later gave our drink order. The waitress didn't say hi how are you or anything just what can I get you for drinks. We get 2 waters and a pop order and then it became frustrating. It took 49 minutes for us to get our 3 meals. In that time our drinks weren't refilled one time, the waitress didn't check on us, apologize for the delay or anything. I finally went up and had to ask someone at the bar to get my son and husband water after they had emptied their waters 20 minutes prior. Finally we get our food and she didn't say a word when she gave us our food not a single thing. I asked for the ticket and boxes because my entire lunch was now over and I was late to get back to work. Get boxes and our check and again nothing from her no apology or anything have a good day nothing. I get back to work and my fries weren't fully cooked and were mushy, on my burger there was no cheese that I had asked for and I wanted no onions and there was onions on it. With the onions I ended up not being able to eat my burger and the fries were so mushy they were gross. So I waited an hour, spent 50 ish bucks on 3 meals and I couldn't eat mine, my son and husband had to rush and stuff theirs down. My sons food was ok but my husband's was messed up too. I am not sure what happened but between the ridiculous wait time, the lack of service , messed up food and undercooked I doubt if we will be going back here again.

First time here to this sports bar type atmosphere eatery. There are lots of specialized burgers and sandwiches to pick from as well as other fare. Our little group each had something different, and all said it was good. I would definitely recommend this business and when back in town will return.

Restaurant was clean and had a sports bar atmosphere. Seated ourselves and waited for our server for a bit longer than I would have expected considering they weren’t that busy. The server was friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. The Vacancy and Frizzle Burgers were good as were the onion rings. The only change I would make would be to have one big patty instead of two small ones. Would not rule out a return visit but I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to return. Food was acceptable for the price.

THOSE WINGS!

Wing Wednesday is main reason I go. They are delicious and you can’t beat the price! My favorite sauce is the KBBQ. It’s a delicious sticky sweet garlicky sauce.
The wing’s are pretty big and I always have some to take home for another yummy meal.

The position of the tables are a bit strange, but it’s because they bought out the building next door, tore down the wall, and the booths remained in their original spot. No big deal since it allows for more seating and now has a stage for live music.

Food comes out quick and always tastes consistent. Service is attentive and efficient which is so nice.

The parking lot does get busy, especially during meal times since it’s in a shopping center with shared tenants.

I’m happy they revamped the menu from when they first opened to added chips or a small size fry to any burger.
Lots of different options to choose from.

I was pleasantly surprised from what I remembered of them when they first opened. Food was delicious. Service was great!

Parking: Shared parking lot between businesses in the surrounding suites.

Kid-friendliness: You could bring kids but seems more like an adult atmosphere tho. I wouldn't bring them.

What a great place this is. The burgers are very good as well as the french fries. The rueben is excellent as well. They have a good choice of burgers that are double patties. If you like some heat with them, we'll they have that too.
Cool layout with open seating and a large bar. Plenty of tvs and a stage. Service was top notch. Wasn't too crowded for lunchtime so make time to grab some food there.

It's a sports bar. We went on a game day. People were yelling at the TV and it was very annoying. They had half the restaurant closed down, which made the restaurant feel small. The food was expensive but you do get a lot of food. There was only one server, and she was very busy but attentive to all her guests. If the restaurant was bigger then the people yelling at the bar wouldn't have disturbed our meal as much.
