Well...we got there at 1pm they close at 2. We ordered fried cod French fries fried okra. We requested fish and okra fried hard well okra soft and greasy the fries were greasy and not cooked all the way actually some were half raw the fish wasn't cooked either it was bad. The dinner roll was fantastic but dinner salad was just lettuce and 1 cracker. I had the meatloaf and you get 2 pieces of meatloaf and it was the special so you got brown gravy with onions. Meatloaf was good but lukewarm. Real mashed potatoes and brown gravy mashed potatoes was cold and corn. Dinner rolls though was fantastic. It was kinda busy so we just paid got to go box for mine. The waitress never checked on us she was to busy talking to a couple while they ate so we couldn't get her attention so busboy gave us to go box. It seemed like she was bothered for us to pay. We wouldn't recommend this place and it was sad because we like mom and pop places but we left and went to Texas roadhouse and had great service and food there. We just wasted 30.00 there at Kelly.

We've ate there for several years now ? GREAT food! I'm a biscuit and gravy fan (a big girl knows her food ?) and these are the BEST!!!

I have been going here for years. The food is always delicious no matter what you order and their chiclen noodle soup is absolutely amazing. They are like a giant extended family. If you are looking for good comfort food, this is the place to go

The young lady who was the waitress was by herself. She was diligent, friendly, and kind, but you could tell she was not prepared for our large party that day. The lunch food was mediocre, I ordered the hamburger and baked potato. I received their last baked potato, which was small and hard. The hamburger was sub-par. I'm sure this is not representative of a normal day since they were short staffed. Let me just say that the other members in our party ordered from the breakfast part of the menu, and it looked fantastic. I would bypass the lunch portion of the menu since the quality for the price paid is less than desirable and order the breakfast, which they seem to serve all day.

Kelly’s Family Diner used to have wonderful roast turkey dinner as a Thursday Special but note that currently (as of July 25, 2024) they DO NOT HAVE TURKEY :-(. Apparently they are unable to get turkey from their supplier. I hope they correct their website which shows turkey as a Thursday special AND I hope they let customers know if/when they have turkey again. I hate to have to bother staff by calling every Thursday to ask. Thanks.

The food is always great. You get tons of food for the price. The staff and the owners are wonderful! Kelly truly cares about the citizens of Wichita and will often donate turkeys or hams for holidays to those who need it and when she can will even open on holidays for people to enjoy a warm holiday meal for free. I truly recommend going to Kelly’s and experiencing this wonderful food and staff!
