I was finally able to try Kyuramen recently and the food was really good!

We started off with Takoyaki.
It was great! It came out pipping hot and had big pieces of tender octopus. It was definitely one of the better takoyaki’s in Wichita.

I ordered the #6 Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. It was a bit more spicy than anticipated but I really enjoyed it.
It had 3 nice pieces of chashu pork, the egg was cooked perfectly, and broth was so tasty. There were plenty of noodles too. By the looks of the spicy broths the heat is coming from a chili oil.

A complaint that I have was, right as I sat down I couldn’t really hear my friend during our conversation because the thin bamboo divider between the tables did absolutely nothing to block out sound. Maybe sitting in a honeycomb would have been better.
Overall the atmosphere is truly unique, fun, and picturesque.

I feel price point is fair given the time the broth needs to get that good depth of flavor and the quality of the ingredients.

There is a button on the side where I assume you ring for service. Which I should have done because we never got a refill of water and I left thirsty. I just thought they would still come by for refills, because otherwise the server never mentioned the button for all requests.

There’s a lot of different dishes to try that other Wichita places don’t offer. I’ll definitely be back to try the other menu items.

Such a fun place to grab a bite to eat. Absolutely love the atmosphere. The service is top notch so friendly, fast and helpful. As for the food the Fried gyozas were really good and flavorful. The omurice was bland and just didn't care for the fried rice presentation was really neat though. I ordered the YinYang bowl and I was not expecting one of the sides to be spicy however it was still bursting with flavor but not something I really enjoyed.

This restaurants atmosphere can’t save it from mid food and terrible service. First, our waitress brought out the wrong order, I waited for my food while I watched my party eat. Then they forgot my fries. They forgot to bring desserts, stopped refilling water halfway through our meal. Got the ticket, overcharged for extra items. Instead of taking them off our ticket, she brought the items out to go despite not ordering and still charged. 4/10.

Really enjoyed the setup of this place and the food was fantastic. Unique take on the bao buns but the pork was very good. We both agreed that the #2 ramen was amazing and we would highly recommend it.

Service and atmosphere were the best part of this place. We were lucky enough to sit in the honeycomb section, and most of the seating here is super unique. Honestly I am not a Ramen expert, but this was fine. Nothing amazing. That being said, the deep fried dumplings were genuinly the highlight of the evening. Overall, a great experience, and would definetly recomend.

Authentic ramen and Japanese cuisine! Since moving to Wichita from California, I’ve been craving that authentic taste of Japanese restaurant food I’ve grown up eating, and this hits the spot. This is now my go-to lunch place!

I ordered the lunch special: free drink and appetizer with any ramen; I chose Thai iced tea, takoyaki, and the Mega Ramen. The quality of each dish I had was high quality and consistent, from the ramen to the yakitori and tempura and takoyaki. I was particularly impressed at the quality of the meat products, such as the chashu in the ramen, and the yakitori meat skewers — extremely tender and with the perfect amount of fat, but not too greasy. The takoyaki is the best I’ve had in Wichita, and I have had a lot of takoyaki — the batter is not too wet or airy and binded really well with the filling, you can actually taste the octopus. I finished my meal with the matcha tiramisu, which was perfectly creamy and not too sweet (a compliment for an Asian palate).

I enjoyed everything in my lunch today and I’ll be certainly coming back excited to try their other dishes that look just as promising. If I had the stomach, I would have tried everything on the menu.

The biggest thing that made me feel back at home was how nicely decorated this restaurant is. It’s connected to TBaar seamlessly in a beautiful scenery of modernized Japanese style interior, decorated with lots of wooden placards with fun writing and drawings on them. It’s giving trendy and super photogenic date spot. I absolutely love that the various booths are pretty private and so beautiful. They also played some wonderful Japanese 80’s / city pop music which makes me feel really nostalgic. The overall atmosphere really took my experience to the next level.

My one and only criticism is that the waiters should perhaps ask if it’s the customers first time at Kyuramen to give a rundown of the menu for those not as familiar with this type of cuisine, as I observed the table next to me felt pretty lost with what to expect of the menu since they do not really dine out to Japanese restaurants. However the service was still great, Quinn was good to us today.

I highly encourage people of Wichita to dine here for an authentic and immersive experience. There’s even a call button on the table to call the waiter over in a subtle manner! The $$ price definitely shows in the quality of everything here :)

Food was good. Love the Okonomiyaki and the omurice/ curry sauce with pork tonkatsu. The desert Cherry blossom jelly was pretty sweet. It reminds me when I went to Japan which makes me miss it. The only issue is the service was what I would sort of expect. I will definitely come back to get the ramen next time.

Kyuramen is an established that is the first and one of a kind for Wichita, Kansas. The honeycomb style seating / decor is very appealing and exquisite.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. Our food arrived within about 10-15 minutes of ordering and everything tasted good.
Our group had various items from the pork bao, curry ramen, pork ramen, chicken ramen, and the omurice with the cutlet.
The staff offered to top off your drinks several times and made sure we were okay.
Last thing, their lemonade is quite incredible if you like lemonades.
I’ll be back in the future for more ramen! Thank you!

Came to have dinner with my daughter before a concert.
Did the B1 Combo for two. Was perfect for us. 2 types of Ramen, the popcorn chicken app, and two desserts we shared. Glad we came, and we plan to be back.

The omurice is incredible, especially with the beef demiglace on top. I also highly recommend the sakura jelly dessert, it's flavorful and incredibly light.
