My wife and I are big tiki nerds and visit family in KS. I was suuuuper excited when I read that a tiki bar opened in Wichita. I had low expectations for Kansas, but we've been back every year and now my family considers it a Thanksgiving tradition. We had over 11 people and L+T was absolutely fantastic. I had the zombie and it's made just as Donn would, my wife ordered a tiki classic off-menu and they didn't bat an eye - and it was delicious and half the other...
We came in for drinks to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere was so fun and we enjoyed that it was quiet enough to still have conversations! We didn't eat this time but will definitely be back again!!
This girl loves a tiki bar and Lava and Tonic did not disappoint! Their drinks are really well-developed, all balanced really nicely and super delicious. I recommend the Jalisco Headhunter, and my husband enjoyed his Sharkbite.
Also get the snack box, it was perfect (the egg rolls really hit the spot).
