I came to look at some apartments right across the street from them and I just caught a whiff of the smell of their food and it smells good so I went to try it and I’m glad I did because the food was freaking awesome! I forgot the exact name of the food but I got a bowl of steamed rice with chicken steak and shrimp with some type of red sauce and it also came with a side of your choice of egg drop soup, salad, or kimchi but I chose the egg drop soup and it was a bit chilly today, so it hit the spot. I’ve always driven by this place multiple times and never thought nothing of it but I think this is a hidden gem💎 The service was awesome and the chef… well let’s just say let him cook! 10/10 for me.

I don't live in Wichita anymore. But for almost a decade, this was one of the most special places in the city for me. I only ever ordered two entrees, but everything on the menu was great. This is the epitome of local local local, real people making real food and sharing their culture and lives. In many ways, an institution.

Great staff and even better food. Some of the best we've had, even in bigger cities.

Food wasn't very good. Kimchi fried rice was bitter and needed more sesame oil. Only a small amount of chicken as well. Bulgogi was bland and not sweet. They don't provide much beef at all. Mainly cabbage. Server was nice though. The one star is for her. Cook was not Korean and was not authentic tasting

This place has become one of my all time favorite restaurants. My cousin and I have been twice now, the first time we went was back in January on my birthday and immediately upon walking in I knew it was going to be a good experience. The building is small but it doesn’t feel claustrophobic or cluttered, it actually feels so cozy and like you just walked into a beloved family members house. There are photos lining all of the walls and it’s a really sweet way to connect the past to the present and makes you feel really connected to the people in the area who love this place even more than I do and have so many wonderful and irreplaceable memories there. I know I’m not talking about the food much yet but I just want to acknowledge and appreciate the beauty of a restaurant feeling like home when the food isn’t even the kind you grew up with and how impressive that is. Both times I was there the new owner was cooking and seeing + tasting the food you can tell that he is absolutely passionate about keeping the love in that building alive. The skill, passion, and dedication it takes to do what they’re doing is beyond admirable. The food was probably the best food I’ve ever had and was so comforting. My cousin got the grilled pork belly and lettuce both times that we went and they absolutely loved it, I got the bibimbap (in the hot stone bowl specifically so that the rice gets crispy on the bottom) both times and also really REALLY loved it (the bibimbap is what my picture is of but it had an egg and the presentation was really good but I got excited and forgot to take the picture before eating lol). We also got the fried pork mandu for an appetizer and it was perfectly crispy and tasted amazing. Also I want to add that the waitress (I don’t know her name I’m sorry 😭) was really amazing and so sweet and that further shows the love in this restaurant.

the food and atmosphere was absolutely lovely! Waitress was so kind and polite, answered any and all questions we had and offered recommendations based on things we had already shown a liking for. Super homey environment, fresh food, and laughter could be heard between the workers - a positive experience, felt like eating a homecooked meal. Will be coming back!

Kody makes some of the best fried rice I’ve ever had. Spiciness levels are perfect. The meat is good quality and tender.
I’ve never had a fried rice dish that I didn’t want to put soy sauce on. Kody knows how to make that dish.

Waitress was very helpful. The walls are covered with past customers photos, which I found very interesting. My food was delicious. I did ask for my food to be spicy hot, I didn't think it was that spicy. Very good.

No exaggeration, they made us wait OVER an hour for our food. They couldn't make a quarter of what was list on their menu when we were there. They got our order wrong and included meat in a meal when we asked specifically for veggies only.
Horrible experience. Food was average at best, but absolutely not worth the wait.

I had a great experience at this Korean restaurant! The special fried rice was especially delicious — full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked. The portion size was generous, and the seasoning was just right. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. Definitely one of the best Korean fried rice dishes I’ve had. Highly recommend

I've been going here since my freshman year of college. I am upset that this pre-established business has gone down hill. The flavor is gone and so is the greenbean kimchi. I know I am not the only one who misses the old owners.
