NuWay is an institution in Wichita. The original location and this location are now the only two in the city. This one is in the more modern style, and the restaurant was clean, and service was good. However, I found the food not as I remembered. The NuWay bun was stale, and the “crumbly burger” was also. However, the onion rings were some of the best I’ve had.

NuWay is still an experience of which one should partake.

Nuway Burgers has been a family favorite for decades. Crumbly really is good... more than good, actually. Pair a delicious Nuway burger with their homemade rootbeer, and you have absolute perfection.

I like this location - consistently friendly and a good one to show off the NuWay experience to out of towners. We went the day before Easter and were impressed with the level of service we received from beginning to end. My daughter had accidentally jammed her finger in the car door and one of their employees almost immediately got a good-sized pack of ice for her to help ease the pain - and it did the trick! All of this taking place in the midst of a late-lunch rush no less.The...
