Tried San Salvador Cafe on the recommendation of the Wichita Food and Booze Facebook group and my love of pupusas. AMAZING! Extremely affordable. Friendly staff and very clean environment.
San Salvador Cafe, in a word, is fantastic. The pupusa's are delicious and filling. Their Friday and Saturday fare are flavorful, plentiful, and unique. While not elaborate, the decor is bright and welcoming. If you are looking for a small, unique little cafe, you can't go wrong with San Salvador Cafe!
The Cafe looks a bit sketchy on the outside - like it used to be a gas station. Trust the building and go inside! The service was fast and the servers were very polite. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. The food was very authentic and good. I would definitely recommend to others. It took me a second to even remember to take a picture of the food with my phone because it was so good.
