One of Wichita’s finest here! I had the sirloin and it was delicious, cooked perfectly and served with a baked potato. Wife had chicken scallopini which is her go to and an excellent choice. Love the memorabilia here and service was great.

This is a place where you can definitely step back in time. Everything looks like it was as if it were still 1978. From the carpet, to the tables, to the seats all are quite "vintage". With that said it's one of the cleanest restaurants we've been to. Atmosphere is dark and very aviation themed. Must be a nostalgic omage to being in the "Air Capitol" because they don't offer any veterans discount although they are big on military themes. They even have a copy of the Japanese Instrument of Surrender from WW2 in their newspaper like menus. The service was top-notch and friendly. Our server was excellent and answered all of our questions honestly. As for food, it's not the quality that we anticipated. Only the salad dressing I heard is house made from what we could tell. We confirmed with them, that none of the pasta nor desserts are house made. I had the baked beef lasagna. Pasta was "al-dente" for sure and only 2 layered (pasta, then thin layer of old ricotta, then pasta, then beef tomato sauce with melted cheese on top. Also had Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The chicken tasted a bit stale, and pasta noodles were also "al-dente" fettuccine sauce was a bit bland. Seemed like they opened a bottle of sauce that came from Dillions along with the box of noodles. Breads were the same as everything else, not freshly made. If you live close then it's worth the drive for a quick Italian food fix.
Parking: Not very wheelchair friendly from what we saw. The entrance has a threshold step and the floors inside are uneven.
Wheelchair accessibility: We did not observe any wheelchair accessibility.

Overcrowded, underlit, appetizer fire, it was the clover valley garlic salt for me. The Italian dressing was so salty and the ranch burned the tongue. I wish I would have licked a city bus window instead. Will be back 4 sure. Extreme love-hate,❤️❤️ hope next year we can make up for this experience.

Rustic, cozy with the charm of bygone times... the aviator ambience and a great atmosphere made the evening, in addition to the culinary experience, a little journey back in time 👍🏼
