“I love stopping in and shopping even if I am not eating there. Whenever I travel, I stop several times to see if some shops stock different things.Parking: Parking was goodWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair is hard to get around in. I love the shop, but I am not able to use my wheelchair in the shop heading to the restaurant.“
“Cheddars is usually really consistent with their food, but today, they dropped the ball. I ordered their fillet, and while the temperature was perfect, they overseasoned the steak. Their mashed potatoes were gummy and flat. The saving grace was their chocolate cake. That was delicious and filledwith flavor.Maybe it was an off night. Hopefully, they can improve in the future.“
“The food is wonderful and the owner/chef is a lovely, personable woman who just blessed our family with our time together at the restaurant. The new location is a plain and useful spot. I've told everyone I know about the restaurant since eating there recently and especially all of my celiac/gf friends. Can't wait to go back.Dietary restrictions: Celiacs, you are welcome here! Just talk to them about what's not gf on the menu and you're set.“
“It reminds me of eating at my grandma’s house, good food, homey surroundings and nice folks.Kid-friendliness: My grandkids think I’m a better than their other grandma because they get what they want to eat and l buy them a toy! Brilliant marketing!“
“I’d been searching for good fried chicken in Wichita for about a month and ended up at Stroud’s today. Hands down the best fried chicken in western Kansas IMHO. Pan fried. Fresh. The meat was tender and the skin was crispy and savory. The mashed potatoes were clearly handmade and were light and fluffy. Had a three piece, left with tomorrow’s lunch, with tip and it was under $30. Honestly had a terrific time and the meal was excellent. Only a slight ding on service and atmosphere. My waitress was very friendly and gave great service but I waited a little too long for my check and Togo box while she chit chatted with another customer at their table. Inside looked like a ski lodge and getting to the front door was a bit of an adventure as you have to wind through a walkway. The entire building feels big and kind of a maze.In no way would that keep me from going back and the food and price more than made up for these relatively small critiques.A+“
“This place probably deserves all 5 stars because the only issues we ran into were most likely because we showed up late. They close at 11, and we came in at 10, so a few of the sides were cold, took a bit to get am item, and service was obviously busy with closing down and getting other staff off the clock. Overall everything was great, and wish that our location in OKC was as good as this one.“
“Highly recommend the giant pretzel. Also loved the different take on a cinnamon roll. Breakfast burrito was spectacular as was the chicken and biscuit. Friendly staff and didn't have to wait long to be seated even on a Saturday at 11am. Second time here and I will definitely be back for more.“
