Don't get an ice cream cone from the Spangles on E Harry in Wichita KS. I stopped by there on my way home around 7:30 & just wanted a cone. I couldn't believe it when the guy handed it to me, I so wanted to say something but didn't. I had left my phone at home so couldn't take a picture. Let me tell you, the ice cream barely stuck out the top of cone. It looked like they just turned on the ice cream and came straight up. The cone wasn't even filled half way! Spangles food is delicious and it was great seeing Rene at the register taking our breakfast order at the N. Rock location Thursday morning (4/10/25). She is very nice and upbeat with a great demeanor. It's always great to see family operator-members visiting their businesses. I ordered the Oooey Gooey Pancakes and they were hot and very good but I just ordered plain, no drizzle or fruit/candy toppings, and they were still good.
