2 Words. DAMN GOOD! 30 years in Wichita, finally found a place my hubby cannot wait to get back to. First visit was tacos and gorditas, 2nd trip was tacos, gorditas and sopes. It's cash only, but if you know, you know that's a heads up letting you know the food is legit!!

Food is amazing and consistently fresh!! Awesome selection of sauces and fresh vegetable appetizer plates are complimentary. The staff is friendly and speedy as well. Everything is very affordable, don’t forget to bring cash!

I’ve been a loyal customer at El Fogon for the past 5–6 years and have always enjoyed the food, often recommending it to others. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won’t be returning. I was given the wrong order—a Torta al Pastor instead of Carne Asada. Mistakes happen, and I was fine with that. But when I called to ask about exchanging it, the staff was extremely rude and insisted I pay again to get the correct item. It’s disappointing to be treated this way after years of support. It wasn’t the mix-up that bothered me—it was the lack of courtesy and the way the situation was handled that lost me as a customer.

Some of the best around town! And even better when you can order late at night and know you'll get quality food. Some of the best in Wichita for sure.

We regularly frequent this place since we found it. Very scaled down menu, but it's all good. I basically now just get the Alambre with Pastor, it's my favorite and I am never hungry as I am at other restaurants on occasion, having to buy several sides to fill me up. (I eat one meal a day, so sometimes it's a challenge to go out to eat and get enough food without spending a fortune). It's cheap. Cash only.

Waited nearly an hour just for them to tell me they couldn't make my food. If I had gotten what I ordered, I would've been fine waiting. If they had told me beforehand, I would've just gone somewhere else. And the burrito I got had maybe 2 or 3 tablespoons worth of meat, with the majority of the filling being refried beans. I usually go to the other location and have never have any problems. First time at the north location and defintely my last.
