IMHO, Mr. Taco has the absolute best tacos in Wichita. The carne asada and carnitas are incredible—they serve up finely chopped meat that is expertly grilled until perfectly crispy. Each taco is topped with a generous pile of fresh chopped onions and cilantro, and they make sure it comes with both their tasty green and red salsa on the side.

Great choice of authentic food
I could write a book about how good these tacos are. Super authentic/flavorful and charred up in little pieces (carne asada) with really good salsa and rice and beans were solid too. I’ve eaten carne asada tacos all over the country and these are up there with some of the best spots even in LA/PHX

Mr. Taco offers rich and flavorful barbacoa, Al pastor, carnitas, and carne asada tacos. The best tacos ever, worth traveling for, even though the small yellow building may seem sketchy. The food is out of this world, a must-try in the area, with kind and generous staff. This place is run by two sweet ladies who work behind the counter. Customers have praised the amazing and cheap tacos, including the three taco special for just $8, which includes Carne Asada, Pollo, and Mexican barbacoa. There is seating outside, but not inside, making it convenient for quick orders by phone. Mr. Taco has become a new favorite taco spot, with delicious flavors and a welcoming atmosphere that leaves customers saying "mucho gracias."
