Flight 1868 - Neighborhood Aviation Themed Whiskey & Wine bar

I love the location there are two fire pits, and they have live music with a guitarist that could sing.
We visited 1868 after being at Prost Germanfest for a progressive dinner .
We sat near the fireplace and met people around us and talked
We actually started out at a table and moved over to the firepit
then we ordered dessert which was a charcuterie of chocolate cake and nuts and assorted fruits and chocolate covered strawberries.
We had a calm and relaxing time talking and listening to the music.
My fiancee bought a cigar off the list and they provide lighters and cutters and trays.

This bar is a treasure! We stopped in on a Friday afternoon and were charmed by the old house's design and flight themed decor. If you can snag a First Class seat, do it! The cocktails were well-made and diverse. I'd love to see the wine list expand, but the liquor menu was robust.
We will definitely be back once the weather cools a bit to take advantage of the patio and fire pits!

Stopped by last night around 7:00 to try this place out. To my disappointment they were closed and according to their hours posted on the door they are only open on Thursday. Don’t understand?

Great place. Very disappointed with the high turn over.Jessica the bartender/waitress is now gone. This speaks volumes about the owner. Too bad this was a great place but will not be back and neither will my family and friends. He owns several businesses that I will not be going to. Hope this place has to close.

Heads up this establishment is strictly 21+.

No issues with that but I recommend they train their staff that this is the case or at least post it on their door. Their preferred method of informing customers is to let them come in, tell them to take a seat, give them a menu and then come back 5 minutes later to tell them they must leave as the 2 year old that they walked in with is not 21.

All you need to do is look at the owners response to a negative review in order to know if this establishment is worth visiting. I will take their feed back though. I must admit I judged Ziggy's too harshly.

Jessica!!! What a great bar tender she is! She was able to a sweet server to my first experience there. I have not met more genuine, down to earth woman!! She deserves a raise!! ?

Service was extremely slow. Very nice but very slow. Definitely not a place if you want a quick 30 minute stop. It took us almost 30 minutes just to get our drinks. They were delicious and the atmosphere was great! Definitely a fun place to chill if you have the time.
