The pizza was AMAZING. The staff members were kind, and the food came out fast. The summer brews are fantastic; we got the 16oz and 20oz strawberry flavors. I would definitely recommend it. There is outdoor and indoor seating. It is a charming place that gives a down-to-earth restaurant and bar feel. Parking is rough but to be expected in that area. For lunch, it was moderately busy but not so busy that there was a wait.

I love Ziggys pizza. We live in college hill and frequent once a month or so. Pizza is always fantastic however, the last two times I have been here the service has not been great.The first time my pizza didn’t come out at all, it was due to “new cooks in training” which is fine, I get it, mistakes happen and they gave me a coupon and took my pizza off (which was very appreciative, unexpected, and wonderful service recovery).Tonight’s experience was sub par. A topping was forgot about on my pizza, we had to ask for napkins, and we had better service from the girl giving us our pizza rather than our server. Our server didn’t even say anything after she dropped our check off.I grew up in a pizza resteraunt that my grandfather owned and worked in the service industry throughout college so I have experience and know what it takes to provide good customer service, and the past two times it has been less than ideal. Please encourage your staff to write down their orders. Memory doesn’t cut it. Some may say it’s a waste of paper, but I can’t help but wonder if my past two experiences were due to the cooks error or the staff not writing down their orders.I hardly ever write business reviews or tip less than 20% but unfortunately the experience I had tonight was justifiable.

Great local pizza joint that offers an alternative to most other pizza places. Choice of red pizza sauce, BBQ sauce, and white sauce with lots of topping choices - you can pretty much have a pizza made any way you want it. Rectangle-shaped pizzas that are about the size of a small cafeteria tray. Pizzas are thin crust so you can eat more slices since you're not filling up on crust - just the right ratio of sauce, crust, cheese, and toppings for our taste. We love the cheesy bread, too, it is excellent. The Clifton Square location has a lot of character but can get really loud inside when busy so it's not particularly relaxing. Same for the east location. The patio at Clifton Square is a nice alternative on pleasant evenings. Plenty of staff and very good service every time we have been at either location.

A friend saw my original review and called it a novel, so I cut this down. My colleague called her rum and coke weak. I ordered off the menu a custom pizza. I wasn't told there would be an upcharge. The waitress stated thats how it rung up. I gave her my card to pay. The manager came by and proceeded to argue with me over the check despite him pulling out the menu. My issue isnt affordability. My problem was hidden fees and disrespect by staff.

The family friendly pizza place of Clifton Square, on Douglas Street and between Hillside and Oliver. A tasty flatbread style pizza is found here, and is at its best when you go for the lunch special where you can get just two slices. I’ve had some fine meals and great experiences here with the family, especially during nicer weather on the patio. It’s pretty laid back inside with comfortable booths when they are available and service is relaxed and average, which is fine for a place like this. We most recently tried the enchilada pizza and it was interesting but will not be a repeat order. Again, I’m a fan of the two slice deal since I’m not big on ordering entire flatbread pizzas, and wish that smaller option was available outside of Monday through Friday lunches. That Clifton Square parking is still a pain as always and Ziggy’s should have a behind the building parking requirement for employees because right now they definitely do not. The family still thinks this place is a gem so I would definitely recommend it for a group with children or a family outing to experience the College Hill area.
