Stopped in for a late lunch as we were traveling through the area. The bbq was delicious and will definetly return and recommend to others!
We read about G & M's in an article about local BBQ. We are from Arizona but were staying at a small RV park in the next town over. We stopped into G & M's on a Thursday night, just in time for the chicken special. We ordered a half of a chicken and a full rack of ribs, plus a draft beer, served in a mason jar mug. Guy and Mae’s… what can I say? I have been reviewing barbecue restaurants for over a decade. I have been to Franklin’s in Austin Texas.I have been to Arthur Bryant’s in Kansas City. I could go on all day about the famous barbecue places I’ve been to. Guy and Mae’s Tavern is my favorite. It is unique ,and stands above the crowd. It is not like any other barbecue you will have.
