The food is made fresh, all of it! Very relaxed homey feel. If you like homemade Churn style ice cream they have it and it's a 10 of 10 for sure.

We were out of towners coming for breakfast. I always get excited for a good small town breakfast place. I understand that in a small town place, what they lack in elegance, they make it up with charm. Not this place. We walked in and it was mostly full. The empty spots were dirty. So we waited for some guidance and for someone to clean a table for us…. And waited. A waitress walked right by us and didn’t say anything. In fact she had a look of contempt. Another group came in behind us and sat a a dirty table, so we did the same. They must’ve known the routine. So we waited, and waited. I finally asked someone if we could have some coffee. This would be the first of three cups I drank in the hour and 15 minutes we were there. I had to ask for two of them. The waitress finally came and cleaned our table and only said one word only because I asked a question. Then she left and we waited and waited. Eventually we got some menus. It was clear that the staff had a preference for the locals as we felt we weren’t welcome. We did finally order and the food was so so. By the time we got our food at the one hour mark, I really wanted to leave. We stuffed some of our food down in a few minutes and left. I had been looking for a different place to go while we were waiting but there aren’t a lot of options.

We stopped here because we saw they had Bierocks. Made it just before they closed and they were out. I was sad but the food proved worth the short drive. We ended up having Reuben with homemade chips. Everything is homemade! So good! We were full but grabbed some kolaches for the road! We will definitely come back if we get in this area again!
