I love this place. I have been going there for years. I do not recommend eating the grilled chicken sandwich. My husband got the crispy and his chicken was good sized. I got the grilled and the chicken was so small and maybe 1/8 inch thin. And there was no lettuce or anything that came with it but my husbands came with all the fixins. Other than that everything else has been great.
We had an opportunity to attend a wine tasting and meal. The 4 course meal was simply superb. The wine was outstanding! We enjoyed the history that was shared throughout the meal and the beautiful hotel. This experience, in Wilson, Kansas was the very best!
This review is for the restaurant The Tasting Room and not the hotel. We saw a billboard on I-70 advertising the restaurant. We decided to try it rather than wait to eat in Kansas City 3 hours away. Service was incredibly slow. I wasn’t even keeping track of time from when we walked in, but it was quite a while before our orders were even taken.
