We stayed in room 312 with the hot tub, it had a queen bed in one room then the other room had two chairs that were very comfy and the bathroom was big with the hot tub , shower and sink. Everyone was so friendly and even gave us a tour. We absolutely had a memorable time!

This is an interesting old railroad hotel. It has been refurbished and is fairly nice. I stayed in a room with a double bed which wasn't much bigger than a train cabin but it was comfortable. I assume some of the other rooms might be bigger. The staff seemed super friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant downstairs is really cool. It's very well done and has a lot of atmosphere. The service was super fast and the food was good. The downside is that this place is seriously in the middle of nowhere. It's not too far off the highway, but the town is super small and there's nothing there. It's a great place to stop overnight but not much more than that.

I stumbled upon this hotel by accident on google maps by clicking on the Czech egg. We needed a place to stay while traveling cross country and it was en route. It was much more unique than a standard hotel and located in a small town that was quiet. We chose the jacuzzi room and it was a great luxury for the price. There is not a fridge, microwave, or other amenities but there is a little market right next door. We didn’t get to experience the dinner or tavern but it’s a neat touch! We were also provided with a complimentary breakfast before heading out. It’s such a cool historic place with Czech culture. It was very cozy and one of my favorite places to stumble upon!
Rooms: Jacuzzi room is worth it! Very spacious and relaxing. There are no extra amenities like a fridge or microwave. It’s quiet and peaceful. Very cozy and clean.
Safety: We felt safe in this area, as it’s a small community. Not much traffic and the people we encountered were so nice!

Driving through and this location was a good distance and not far off the highway. Thanks for having a dog friendly room option. Rooms are very cozy but cute is historical way. Staff was great. Easy walk to the egg.

Rooms: Rooms are historic, but kind of cramped with the modern sized furniture. Nothing at all wrong with them, but would be hard to navigate the room we stayed in if there was a walker or wheelchair involved. No space for kids here.
Noteworthy details: The hotbar food for breakfast is good, and the restaurant downstairs is decent, esp for how tiny Wilson, Kansas is. Not gourmet, but good value.

We were driving through and there wasn’t many food choices. As soon as I walked in I knew there was paranormal activity. Out waitress was so kind to let us tour the hotel while out food was being prepared. Whatever is on the third floor caused a panic attack. An amazing place to go to’n
Safety: Very quiet town.

This is a wonderful place to stop and decompress from the I-70 raceway. Wilson is a charming town. The hotel is beautiful, its restoration clearly a labor of love. People are really glad you’re here, and justifiably proud of their town. The hotel is old; the rooms small and a little short on electrical outlets. But it is in pristine condition! The floors don’t squeak, the beds are super comfy, there’s plenty of hot water. The continental breakfast was plentiful: hard boiled eggs, summer sausages, cheese, cereals, fruit and OMG! bierrocks!! Dinner in the Sample Room was great. Stay here, take a little walk in the evening, wake to a silence so deep your ears throb. Two miles from the highway is a magical place. You won’t be sorry. We’ll be back.

Beautiful place. Restaurant downstairs was really nice, food was wonderful. Outside grounds and patio were very pretty.
Rooms are pretty small but was fine for our overnight stay.

The hotel was fantastic. It was well kept up and the decor was period authentic. Fantastic location. The only caution I would suggest, is go in with low expectations if you go to the stand-alone bar for food. The ribs were fantastic, but the potato salad was overly runny, and Nicole slaw was probably in the fridge for quite a few days. However, the pork ribs were good. I'd recommend going to one of the local restaurants or to the hotel in the basement.
Food & drinks: If you don't go to a separate restaurant, temper your expectations of goodness.

It wasn't haunted but it was enchanting. Only 4 stars for service because the wait staff on the property wasn't very friendly initially and the rooms are very small. But everything Is very clean and tidy. The space is very charming.
Noteworthy details: There is a quaint little back patio where they have live music, the restaurant downstairs has great food and is clearly a town favorite, also there is a barn bar out back that serves some light fare. There is a fake statue of liberty across the street, a WWII memorial, and the largest Czech egg in the US.

last call at 10:30 on a Friday night, pathetic. and sh!tty attitude on top, piss poor service and at best occasionally ok selection.
Our family of 15 stayed two nights. Historical hotel with lots of history. Rooms were a little smaller than anyone is used to but that's how they built them back in the day. Very clean. They were more than accommodating to our large group. The entire staff was very friendly. The food and drinks were very good! Bartender/waiter/busser handled the entire restaurant like a pro! We were fortunate to have Gunner the following evening as well....lucky us! Out door patio was wonderful for visiting after our meals. Cute town, busy getting ready for Czech Fest that Saturday.
