“WOW - their food was mindblowing. I was expecting it to be pretty good based on their on their menu selection… but wow was I in for a surprise. I would 1000% recommend the Taja chicken plate. The chicken breast was A+ quality and the overall flavor was beyond expectation. Imagine the most perfectly fried chicken breast on a bed of fried plantains, cabbage, and mayo dressing. So GOOD. I ordered the meat pastries as well and they too were absolutely delicious. It will be hard to not return tomorrow. Compliments to the chef“

“I had the pleasure of trying their Burger Week special today and was absolutely blown away! It may sound strange, but I'm now a firm believer that apple chutney *belongs* on burgers. The combination of beef, melty brie, apples, & dijonnaise created the perfect balance of sweet & savory. The sprinkle of parsley on the fries provided an excellent pop of colour & was a lovely lil touch. Their ranch is pure excellence & clearly made in house. I highly recommend grabbing a side of it to dip those aforementioned fries in! 💖“

“Yall the owner is an Amazing woman! My husband and I stopped in this morning he ordered the jerk chicken which was delicious, crispy and tender while full of flavor! With Naan and beans and rice for his sides (I ate most of his rice it was so good. I had wanted the Oxtails but they weren’t ready yet😩 I left and came back for my tails when I ordered the cashier told me they were sold out when I tell you I was in SHAMBLES! When my girl popped around the corner and said “no no no she Pre ordered I have her Oxtails right here” I could have CRIED. This is top tier customer service! The food is delicious! 10/10 would recommend!! Go get you some“

“Best tacos (IMO) in lexington!! The location is in kind of a bad place but ive not had any issues while waiting for or eating my food. Usually the service is fast, food is made correctly and always hot and delicious, only this most recent trip a lady took my order and was quite unpleasant, a truck drive by with loud music so I was waiting until they gotva little further down the rosd so i didn't have to scream and she rolled her eyes and said next time only come to window when you know what you want, and tossed her order book down and walked over to start putting good in bags and ignored me until someone else came to order like 5 minutes later....Usually one of 2 guys wait on me and theyre always polite.“

“We stopped here after a long day attending Scarefest in Lexington, and were not disappointed! So many amazing vegan options and customizable. The beer-battered burger is one of the best vegan burgers I’ve ever had. I think had I added jalapeno, it would have been hands down the best thing ever. The wings were just as great! All sauces we tried were tasty and the wings themselves were flavorful. Can’t forget to mention the oatmeal crème pie cookie 🤤 Next time I’m in the area, this will definitely be a stop.“

“Fernando’s has become my greatest obsession😭 I think about their Chorizo street tacos constantly! I love the mangonada and the Mexican fruit cup. The street corn cup is also amazing! The serving size makes the price worth it!

I was craving them this Tuesday only to find out they’re closed on Tuesdays (completely understandable)! I went to another place for some Chorizo street tacos. I was unimpressed and feel that I’ve been spoiled by Fernando’s serving size and quality.

One night I was craving it so bad that I went right before our most recent ice storm. They took my order and brought it to the car for me. My partner and I were very grateful for that service!

Anyways, I am a big fan and will be back whenever the craving hits and my bank account allows!“

“Is been a while since I have rated a place I'm here for work and is been a while since I felt the need to do a review. This place is just so amazing mexican food around US seems to be trying to fit in mixing local flavors to fit in. This place in what mexican food is supposed to be flavors the salsas the hand made tortillas. Im from chicago our culture there if your mediocre you wouldn't survive and places out of chicago are just trying to call themselves mexican and there not. If you guys want to taste real mexican food this is it. I had to come eat 2 times and I may stop by tomorrow before going back home just because is amazing.“
