“The taco flights (The Filthy Fajita, The Smokeshow and The Gangsta) were Amazing as was our appetizer (Shrimp Rangoon Bites)!! Strawberry Bombshell on the rocks was definitely the bomb! Speaking of being the bomb, gotta give it up to our server Tonni and the general manager Nick who were both so nice, helpful and accommodating!! We will definitely be repeat customers! “We really enjoyed our visit at Desperados Cantina located in the Distillery District. They have what seems to be the largest tequila selection in town! Not only do they serve great cocktails, but their tacos are so good. I highly recommend the hot pepper chicken taco and the pork belly taco. They also have a nice patio right next to a creek with a beautiful fireplace. Highly recommended!“

“I don’t often review food trucks, but this one is great. Eaten there twice in the past week. They come to your car and take your orders. Whether it be street tacos, tortas or quesadillas, the portions are huge (and worth it!) Part of the Little Mexico area of Lexington, the place is always packed with customers. The food is made fresh. The green salsa is awesome. The flavors are splendid!“

“This place is great. You order at the counter, incredibly friendly staff, food comes out super fast and was delicious. They were incredibly helpful in all our requests to package up our to go food.

“They act like they cant speak English and I got charged 1 dollar extra for cheese per taco. They had no problem telling me that. Then I tried to explain i go there all the time and this has never happened now no one knows English. Its so frustrating that some people decide when and when not they can speak English.“

“May try it out again but it was mediocre. The service and quickness was great. Husband got steak and chicken street tacos, BLAND. No flavor especially the shredded chicken. Bean soup was good. I got steak fajitas which steak was pretty good so my dish had flavor. Guac was great too. What was VERY disappointing was I got DENIED by my request of corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas with my meal. NEVER have I been to a Mexican restaurant and been (literally) told NO. Server was great but To make the experience REALLY AWKWARD was the fact that instead of getting your bill your server stands there waiting for you to pay them and if paying in cash they’ll stand there and NOT give you your change back. I was waiting for my change (so I could manage out her tip) and she just stood there so I got out more cash for her tip then decides to walk away. Very uncomfortable so you may want to change your checking out routine.“

“Best tacos (IMO) in lexington!! The location is in kind of a bad place but ive not had any issues while waiting for or eating my food. Usually the service is fast, food is made correctly and always hot and delicious, only this most recent trip a lady took my order and was quite unpleasant, a truck drive by with loud music so I was waiting until they gotva little further down the rosd so i didn't have to scream and she rolled her eyes and said next time only come to window when you know what you want, and tossed her order book down and walked over to start putting good in bags and ignored me until someone else came to order like 5 minutes later....Usually one of 2 guys wait on me and theyre always polite.“
