I went to Morehead State for four years and still visit my friends in the area often after graduating a couple years ago. And ‘Huddle Home’ is a guaranteed spot we always prioritize going to for delicious biscuits and gravy, pancakes, hash-browns and more. Throughout those years, I had a few hits and misses on the quality of my food (I’m especially particular on how I like my food done which can be annoying, so I’ve never felt poorly about the place when they can’t do it) But I was pleasantly surprised when Lucy insured it was to my liking — and I must say it was the BEST quality I had in those 6 years. Above all, she was incredibly personable and kind throughout the service as well (I could just tell it was going to be a good meal within her first interaction with our table). Bonus points because my friends and I went there later in the evening which can always be an hairy time to go into an establishment but she was still cheerful and pleasurable and it really boosted our experience that much more. If you’re going to do Huddle, this one in particular is the place to go!“

“As an ex-secret shopper, I'm very picky about where I eat. This LJS is fantastic in cleanliness, friendliness, and food. The lobby and bathrooms were spotless and appeared to have a solid detail clean. Karla (I think she's either a manager or lead) was welcoming and patient with me. The food was fresh, hot, and flavorful... even the waffle fries were great, which can get gross quickly! If I'm ever in Morehead, this is my go-to spot for good people and great food!“

“Enjoyable fast food experience. A&W are hard to find, so stumbling across one is a surprising and unexpected experience. The minute I found an A&W Long John Silver’s I had to go. The food is decently enjoyable, with their shining stars being the cheese curds and Root Beer Floats. The employees are friendly and the interior is warm and amiable. The interior probably hasn’t been changed since it’s first debute in Morehead, but it makes the experience nostalgic and comforting. The whole restaurant has been engulfed in the 80’s dinner aesthetic. Definitly recommend for good fast food and nostalgic dinner vibes.“

“It was late, and we were on a road trip. Not many places opened late at night, so we decided to head through the drive-through at this McDonald's location. Placed our order and was asked to pull up. The wait was terrible. We didn't have a large order either. Normal chicken nugget, fries, and mcflurry meal. We had sat for a bit and then saw another driver pull up behind us. Saw that they had gotten their food quite quick, so I was hoping ours would be out soon. Took about another 5 min, and it arrived as ordered. That was a plus. The food was very hot. Meaning it was fresh. I'm happy about that. Would've liked a bit faster service, but it's always a plus when your orders are correct.
May have been an off night, so I would give it another try if we were in the area.“
