The food is epic. It definitely over delivers. The wings are fantastic, brined, rubbed, smoked and I am assuming fried prior to serving. The flavor is fantastic, even with the tame (by heat) sauces. These are easily on par with Knock Back Nats wings and not as spicy, so they probably appeal to many more.I also had the Smoked and Fried Bologna Sandwich! Epic! Tater tots are really good, and the kids' chicken and waffles were also excellent. We will be back for sure. I suggest you try this place out if you hadn't before. Being inside Alexandria Brewing Company is also a bonus as they have some pretty solid beers as well.Ok we went back on a Saturday. And they definitely need to step up their game in the kitchen. They took orders with buzzers. Why they don't take all orders as they come is beyond me. wouldn't you want to know what's incoming? I don't know. The food was great the first time. We've been waiting 2 hours the 2nd time. Perhaps come on a weeknight and expect slow service.? Not a great 2nd experience.

It was a Friday special and not on their everyday menu. But if the rest of Bender's food is half as good as the goetta Po boy then you're in for a real treat because it was legit the best use of goetta in a non breakfast dish that I've ever had.

This is a hidden gem inside of ABC Brewery… the food is fantastic! I had the chicken and waffles tonight…delicious and the smoked maple syrup is a must try. I’ve had just about everything on the menu and there is nothing that I would not eat again. Smash burgers are huge ? I would say my favorite would be the smoked wings…go get ya some!

I had a make-your-own smashburger with tots and it was great. Tots were crispy. The burger patty was just the right level of salty, crispy around the edges, and the other ingredients I chose all tasted excellent (avocado, pimiento, bacon). Lots of unique options for the make-your-own that let you personalize it. Cost was very reasonable. And of course it's great to enjoy the food with a beer in the taproom.

Located in the same building as Alexandria Brewing Company (ABC), Benders is one of the best places to eat in Northern Kentucky. My personal favorite is the fried chicken sandwich with tots. But I haven't had a bad item yet. Head in for wing Wednesday for some discounted wings. They pair perfectly with ABC's whiskey Wednesday. They may be a little hard to find the first time, but after that, you won't forget.
Chef Shawn’s food is always top notch! I have not had one thing that has ever tasted bad. My go to is always the Fried Bologna. My wife’s go to is usually the smash burger or tomato sandwich. Shawn cares about the food he serves and it shows!! If you ever get to go to on of the special events where he prepares a special menu do it!

Food is great. Everything on the menu is delicious. Only complaint would be when customers are unkind to the staff for petty reasons. Lucky for us, the staff is very professional, polite, and positive in everything they do.
