We are on a Coney tour, Empress was the first stop.it was a huge Delhi chilli spot when I was young. we went to Alexandria for empress chili for the tour and it was amazing, Steve was amazing and the staff was A + thanks for putting up with us.?

The OG of Cincinnati chili. Gotta show respect and I love that they’re still alive after 102 years but man, the restaurant feels like a 90s Taco Bell and the chili is good but not great.

Empress Chili never disappoints. Great, homemade flavor and atmosphere that you never get at the other chili chains. Now that I know it's there (none near me unfortunately) I'll definitely be back!

I’ve ate at this location a lot but lately all the lunch meat has thick rind all through out the sandwich’s. I can deal with that as the food is normally fairly decent. I’m most upset at the service when the adult owners are not working. The kids that are working there could care less. Four times in a row now they looked at me crazy when I pull up and tell them I submitted an online order. They don’t check! I use to call the orders in but was encouraged to use the online portal. So I wait for them to make my food while watching the kids goof around. I didn’t want to leave a bad review and sent a message via Facebook because I would want to know this as an owner and my message was read but ignored. Don’t use the online portal!
