Great food and excellent value. It's a little out of my way, but I try to swing by every month or so. I have yet to be less than satisfied after any visit, and often wishing it wasn't so tasty so I didn't eat too much lol
I’ve seen this place for several years and finally got the chance to try it. Atmosphere is exactly what I’ve come to expect of a BBQ restaurant. Comfortable feel, country, and smells of heaven. We stopped in on a Sunday late lunch and tried the pulled pork, brisket, and a BBQ baked potato. The potato was more of mashed potatoes fixed up with beans, pork, and cheese on top. The small was a large plate, more than she could eat. Good flavor overall, a bit too much nacho cheese....
Early supper at mid-afternoon on a Friday. Ordered at a window inside and the gal spoke clearly, polite, and good at it. Ordered a pork plate with macaroni and cheese and baked sliced apples. My meal came with two pancakes --corn cakes. Man, were those cakes good. Never before have I take pancakes or corn bread home. I'll have the second pancake at breakfast tomorrow. Washed up in the restroom afterwards and noticed it stocked and clean. Rode a motorcycle, but still looks...
