I wish this was still a barbecue restaurant. You can still get a pulled pork, but there's really nothing left on the menu that makes this restaurant worth choosing over somewhere else. The music was so loud we had to point and use pantomime to order. It was impossible for any of my party to speak to each other. My parents used earplugs because they somehow had them. The food was meh. Maybe it's fine to come here for a bar experience. If you hoped to eat barbecue and talk to loved ones, it's not happening.

I can't believe this place is still open. It used to be a favorite of ours. We went recently and the food and service was absolutely horrible! We were told that they no longer had chips for the kids meals and offered other sides. However, we weren't made aware of the upcharge! They don't have the pickles or pickle shots either. The waiter was completely clueless, slow and messed up our order 2 times. There wasn't many people there actually eating. However, the bar area and tables were filled with what seems the towns local drunks. The prices are higher portion smaller and quality is horrible. The bathrooms are disgusting! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. I won't be surprised when I read that it has shut down.

Had very bad experience. Used to come here once a week. Had quit coming when menu had changed. Came back tonight to give the benefit of the doubt. Was not very busy but took a hour to get our food. Had to ask 3 times to get extra dressing for my salad. Was never asked if we wanted refill on our tea and water. My husband finally asked for refill, took a while for waitress to bring it. Not very good service at all. Will never be back and never recommend anyone to come here.
They took away nearly half of the menu. After we ordered it was over 40 minutes before we got our food. The fries I got were way overcooked and loaded with salt so I only ate one of them. We asked for an extra ranch for a salad at our table and we had to ask 3 separate times before they brought it out. Nobody came to ask if we needed our drinks refilled.

Used to be great but now the brisket is gone, the fantastic fish and chips is gone. Used to have the best fries around and now just average old fries. So sad

When a server comes to refill your soft drink they should tell you the refills are not free. We had a party of 6 and 4 had a second beverage and we were charged for 9 drinks.

After 25 min. Had to find someone take my order. Food was dry and terrible. 6 months later, I ordered takeout. Ribs were dry, fries tastes like they had been under a heatlamo for hours, salad had wilted lettuce. It was terrible Do Not waste your money!

Went in for lunch Wednesday, had the 10$ special (Bombshell Burger and fries) there's a few choices on special, my brother had the pulled pork sandwich. Both were tasty served fast and friendly. Place has darts, axe throwing, 2 bars, a stage and karaoke. Would be great for a night out.
Parking: Avoid parking in the Eagles parking lot, there's a tow away sign posted.

Food and service is mediocre at best but that should be the least of their worries. The establishment creates an uneasy and unsafe environment that they seem to promote and encourage. Enter at your own risk
Kid-friendliness: Unsafe family environment. Do not take your children there.

Service was great, I can only echo what so many others have said about the new menu. I had a Shotgun Wedding from Country Boy Brewing out of Lexington. It had an acetic acid taste which is an indicator of a draft system in need of cleaning. It pained me to leave this review as in the past this has always been a favorite establishment.

This place was our favorite until we we went back today and my $9 bombwich is now $18 if you want chips/fries?! My brisket is now gone & the bbq bombwich barely had bbq on it. Lots of things are off the menu now…. Our served was still excellent, so we still tipped very well just crazy how prices doubled!! *Also old menu is still posted on the website*

yall had been my favorite restaurant in ashland for years but ill never be back. you cut back on the quality, the diversity, and the quantity of your product and then you raise the prices? and not even just by a dollar but anywhere from $1-$5 for what is, at best, the exact same dish or, most likely, the same dish but less sides or smaller portions or cheaper ingredients. i dont see that working out too well so i pray your axe room was worth the investment. because i guarantee that when any return customers look at your new menu and realize that theyre paying more for less, theyll not want to come back either. especially when they think about how sal's prices to proportions is even worse than bombshell's now. you dont have to care about your guests as individuals but you should have more than respect for the people who make you your money. lord knows that your employees arent gonna see the an increase in wages with money youre "saving" by shorting your guests.
