“Hi there! We tried to leave a review on the website, but it kept rerouting to another location. This is for the Rt. 60 Ashland, KY location. Our daughter loves Waffle House and we make a point of it to go once a week. Kay has been our server each time we’ve visited and we wanted to say that she is a shining light. She is friendly and kind to us and other customers. She has made a point of it to leave a beautiful, encouraging note on our ticket each time & I’ve observed her taking a moment to write other customers a kind note as well. I’ve attached a picture of said note. There is so much tearing down & negativity around us, and I believe that we rise by lifting others. Kay is a special example of this & the world could use more people like her. I hope someone in management or corporate sees this & acknowledges her in the best way. We ordered a salad & bake potato for sides, very large salad and fresh & Potatoes was great! Our waiter went out of his way to see everything was great. Gave me a big Carrot cake & gift card for blooming onion to honor my birthday. Highly recommended! we will be back again!”

“Got the Italian to compare against the nearby Jimmy John's, and it was FAR better. Even if JJ didn't screw up our order, I don't think it's likely they would've won. Bread and ingredients tasted much better.
Also picked up a Philly. Steak was very good, but if you order it be aware they don't include onions, you have to request them even though that's standard basically everywhere. That's on me for assuming, BUT, if they aren't including those things, they honestly should be loading up more meat and cheese. The ratio is sad otherwise.
Fries were not seasoned at all. No salt, or pepper, or anything which is a shame since otherwise they're decently cooked and we like the skin on fries.”

“Donatos first timer tonight AMAZING PIZZA!! We got a serious meat and a hot chicken & italian garlic breadsticks the ham was flakey and moist on the Serious Meat. NEVER had that on a pizza. PERFECT!!! And the Hot Chicken was probably the best pizza i have had in my life!! Ran over from Ironton and it was still perfect getting home. Thank you thank you Thank you!!”

“this review is for the new Rexburg location in Mother hibbards have stopped in there four times within the last week to try the food and they never have anything in the warmer. no pizzas nothing. I went in there tonight. no food in the warmer. the kids that work there are sitting on the floor up against the wall doing absolutely nothing. Do they only serve Pizza at lunch and zero food for dinner? there's nothing anywhere that says what times they have food what time? they don't have food so tonight I went from hangar 54 right over to Valley wide and got me a personal pizza and now I'm headed to work.”

Definitely worth trying to figure out the safety hazard of a main driveway trying to get into the place (don't be too shy to pass it and come back if it gets confusing -- it's not well designed in terms of traffic and safety)

“I finally tried Sam’s Hot Dog Stand for the first time, and I can’t believe I waited this long to check out such a regional staple. (Fun fact: Sam’s originally started just next door in Huntington.) I kept it simple with spicy sauce, mustard, and cheese. That spicy sauce really surprised me! It’s got a legit kick and a lot of flavor, not just heat. I also tried the bratwurst with kraut, spicy sauce, and jalapeños. The brat was juicy and the toppings worked really well together. The value stood out, too: 8 dogs total, including the brat, for $19. Everyone is full and happy. I was surprised to hear some people thought Sam’s was closed or didn’t know it was there. “I love this discount bakery. They sell discounted bread and snacks of all kinds. The bread is fresh and the snacks are varied. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Prices are a bargain and yet the breads and snacks are name brand. Definitely worth stopping in for a look.

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.”

“I was asked what I wanted on my sandwich and after telling the guy at register he put my order in, the guy at the grill seen two young ladies in line beside me and I could see he was nervous or something being a young we all know how it is.. he puts green pepper on it I didn't even notice it was mine until I was in front of grill area I tell him if that is mine or is not correct it was no green pepper extra mushrooms and light onions no salt and pepper, he looks at the screen says oh yeah there is alot of writing, he then puts a new chicken down and right off put salt and pepper on it he likes at the screen and sees that and he continues adding veggies I say yeah I'm not even going to say anything about that I could see he was flushed but I didn't want to embarrass him he was the only one in the grill no one topping for him there was a couple guys in the kitchen area they walked up to the door for a sec looked and went back to area ..
I was upset at first that he was not paying attention because of the field and I was being considerate of his feeling. I didn't want the salt pepper only because most over so it but I was pleased when I ate it if was good. green peppers would have not gone over well it flooded the sandwich with the flavor so over all 89% just more attention to what the costumer orders that food is expensive also I had to remind him it was too go and needed a bad to carry my order in”

Every single time I've been to that particular store, those specific employees are always willing to help with kindness, and humor along the journey. The pizzas were perfect for my picky eaters. “I don't have an issue with BK. Nor do I want to see anyone disciplined, but trained. The lid on my hot coffee wasn't on well this morning, resulting in me getting it dumped all in my lap as I received it at the drive-thru window. Now, that happens. I'm not even upset about that. Those lids can be tricky. But the worker clearly sees what's happened. I'm desperately reaching the cup back to her begging for napkins to help get this hot coffee off of me. But she goes ahead and starts taking a full order from a car behind me while looking right at me.... I even asked her at one point, "You're more concerned about taking an order?" Still no help. She continued to take the order and stand there. Once she finally finished with the order she did walk over to get napkins. I'm just requesting, PLEASE BK, train your workers to prioritize. Noone wants to be sitting at a pickup window where you're unable to open their door & get out to get hot coffee off of you. A little customer service in a situation like that is more than appreciated.”

He had so much patience with me, as I was extremely indecisive and slap happy due to having been in the car for the last 9 hours of my life. The woman taking my order at the drive-thru was polite, helpful, and got all my custom orders right. I pulled forward to the window, paid, & by the time they were handing my card back they handed them the bag with my finished order. And GET THIS, it was ALL correct. Over 10 items!

Unfortunately the fish and chips was inedible. I don’t want to place blame. I understand it’s sometimes difficult to acquire fresh fish and to hand batter said fish. Having said that if it were my restaurant I would take fish and chips off the menu if I was unable to produce a pub staple. I’ll say this. Order the Celtic knot, the bangers and mash and the Boston cream pie, and you’ll be more than satisfied.”
