Honestly, we stopped in this place because of the name. We love anything pirate related! They were pretty busy both in the drive-thru and inside. The service was great though! We had never been here and we were taking longer than we probably should, but there were so many options to choose from that we couldn't make up our minds. A line had already formed behind us, but the lady waiting on us was very patient with us and didn't make us feel rushed. Unfortunately, the counter area was closed so we couldn't eat inside. They had a little covered patio outside that we sat at, but it was a little chilly so we didn't stay long. The donuts were amazing! I loved that they weren't super sweet and sugary like most donuts. They had great flavor and tasted fresh. The custard filled ones had the perfect ratio of custard to donut. We ended up getting a dozen so we could try a variety (and because they came in a treasure chest looking box) I couldn't even pick a favorite, I loved them all! Coffee was delicious too! Wish we had a place like this back home! Will definitely stop in if we are ever in Ashland again!

I was very disappointed, I stopped by today to pick up donuts and they were closed at 12:00.I was craving an apple fritter so I was upset! Is there a reason you were closed on Sunday at mid day?
Have no complains. Great donuts with excellent service. Would recommend.

The last two times I have tried to purchase donuts they have been closed! On Monday in August for the first day of school for my kids and today on a SUNDAY! Sunday has to be the biggest donut day of all! And, there are no hours posted on the Google listing, so when I checked in advance I had no idea they would be closed. I will quit making special trips to get the only edible donuts in town.
