FANTASTIC BBQ! The sides are great, the portions are HUGE! And they have a nice Bar area too!

My daughter and I came here for lunch it was very nice. Love the atmosphere, our service was great and food the was all very good . Fried pickles was awesome. And our sweet tea🥳

We had family in from Pigeon Forge that I’ve bragged to about this place. I’ve sworn that it was better than any bbq they had in TN. Well today, I was proven wrong. We went during lunch and the place was no where near packed. After being sat we waited for 15 minutes before I had to hunt down a server to ask for service. Another 10 minutes and a few mean looks in our direction later the server finally showed up. I guess she was upset because she wanted to stand out front by the hostess and we caused her to have to work. She was very short with us. She only brought us our drinks which were served to us a full 30 minutes after we arrived. We ordered a sampler platter and another server must’ve noticed it sitting in the kitchen and brought it to us. Everything on the platter was cold and the cheese had developed a film on top from sitting so long. We tried to over look that and when yet another set of servers brought out our lunch, our server finally showed back up. The entire table had empty drinks. She was very short with us. She was huffing and puffing because we were asking for things. All of our lunches were also cold so I finally complained. The manager who came out to talk to us couldn’t care less about our complaints. I honestly have bragged and bragged on this establishment but after today I will never say another positive word. I will take my family somewhere else and spend my money there.

The entire experience was better before they moved to their new location. I have been there 3 times since they moved and I have had enough of their horrible hostesses and their unsatisfactory food. Won’t go back and will tell others to spend their money else where

Was not very attentive. But when she was there she did a good job.

Parking: Glad to have a nice place so close to home.

Ordered a Smokin Js feast to go, got home and it was terrible. The brisket was so tough you couldn’t eat it, the garlic bread tasted freezer burnt and the baked potatoes were rock hard. 100% would NOT recommend.

We have dined at Smokin J’s multiple times, and each visit has been nothing short of exceptional. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is top-notch.

Our waiter this afternoon, Zane, was the epitome of professionalism, efficiency, and attentiveness—almost like a mind reader. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, keeping our drinks refilled, providing knives as needed, and offering excellent meal recommendations. When I learned he was only 19, I was genuinely astonished. As someone in the education field, I know how rare such maturity and dedication can be at that age. His service surpassed that of many seasoned adults in the industry.

Keep up the great work, Zane—you have a bright future ahead! Best of luck in the Army. To Smokin J’s management: I don’t know Zane personally, but I can confidently say he is a tremendous asset to your restaurant. I hope you recognize and reward his outstanding service!
